Recebido: 05/07/2021 Aprovado: 29/10/2021 Neste trabalho procuramos discutir o direito à história e memória das populações da Baixa de Cassange nas lutas de libertação de Angola, enfocando três momentos históricos das revoltas na região, que têm sido objetos de questionamentos acerca de seus lugares nas comemorações da Independência de Angola, sendo eles: o 04 de janeiro, 04 de fevereiro e, principalmente, o 15 de março de 1961. Para discutir tais eventos, no ambiente colonial de Angola, no ano de 1961, consultamos uma variedade documental disponibilizada pelos arquivos digitais da Torre do Tombo, entre relatórios da PIDE, do Arquivo Oliveira Salazar, dos administradores da Cotonang, da administração colonial e de militares. Sobre a memória dos eventos em nossos dias, ouvimos depoimentos de antigos membros da UPA e das comunidades de Cassange, além de historiadores (as) de Angola, Portugal e Brasil, preocupados com as lacunas destes eventos na história de Angola. An investigation was conducted to search antagonistic bacteria as biological control agents of soft rotting bacterial pathogen of onion (Allium cepa L.) in vitro and in storage. Antibacterial activity of previously isolated 91 bacterial isolates was tested in vitro against onion soft rot bacteria Burkholderia cepacia O-15. Two isolates namely, R-15 and E-37 were found antagonistic against onion soft rot bacteria. Isolate R-15 was identified as the genus Bacillus and the isolate E-37 to Lactobacillus sp. Isolate R-15 proved to be a strong antagonist against onion soft rot bacteria was selected for bio-control of onion in storage. That was also effectively reduces the soft rot disease of onion in storage condition. Percentage of disease reduction (PDR) due to treatment with antagonistic bacteria was 72.4% compared to untreated control. It is therefore suggested that this isolate could be exploited as biocontrol agent for onion soft rot in Bangladesh. Bangladesh J. Sci. Ind. Res.56(4), 231-240, 2021

Background: Gastroschisis management remains a controversy. Most surgeons prefer reduction and fascial closure. Others advise staged reduction to avoid a sudden rise in intra-abdominal pressure (IAP). This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of using the umbilical cord as a flap (without skin on the top) for tension-free repair of gastroschisis.Methods: In a prospective study of neonates with gastroschisis repaired between January 2018 to October 2020 in Tanta University Hospital, we used the umbilical cord as a flap after the evacuation of all its blood vessels and suturing the edges of the cord with the skin edges of the defect. They were guided by monitoring abdominal perfusion pressure (APP), peak inspiratory pressure (PIP), central venous pressure (CVP), and urine output during 24 and 48 h postoperatively. The umbilical cord flap is used for tension-free closure of gastroschisis if PIP > 24 mmHg, IAP > 20 cmH2O (15 mmHg), APP <50 mmHg, and CVP > 15cmH2O.Results: In 20 cases that had gastroschisis with a median age of 24 h, we applied the umbilical cord flap in all cases and then purse string (Prolene Zero) with daily tightening till complete closure in seven cases, secondary suturing after 10 days in four cases, and leaving skin creeping until complete closure in nine cases. During the trials of closure, the range of APP was 49–52 mmHg. The range of IAP (IVP) was 15–20 cmH2O (11–15 mmHg), the range of PIP was 22–25 cmH2O, the range of CVP was 13–15 cmH2O, and the range of urine output was 1–1.5 ml/kg/h.Conclusion: The umbilical cord flap is an easy, feasible, and cheap method for tension-free closure of gastroschisis with limiting the PIP ≤ 24 mmHg, IAP ≤ 20 cmH2O (15 mmHg), APP > 50 mmHg, and CVP ≤ 15cmH2O.

Bài báo giới thiệu kết quả phân tích thành phần, tính chất mẫu khí và condensate mỏ Thiên Ưng, so sánh với tính chất sản phẩm khí và condensate khác tại Việt Nam. Khí tự nhiên mỏ Thiên Ưng có thành phần chủ yếu là methane với hàm lượng dao động từ 75,231 - 76,402 %mol. Tổng các thành phần hydrocarbon còn lại trong khí mỏ Thiên Ưng chiếm từ 7,083 - 7,123 %mol, trong đó hàm lượng hydrocarbon lỏng (C6+) rất thấp, từ 0,172 - 0,226 %mol. Khí mỏ Thiên Ưng là khí ngọt, có hàm lượng H2S dao động từ 0,3 - 1,5 ppm.Condensate Thiên Ưng có khối lượng riêng ở 15 oC là 0,7743 g/mL nên thuộc loại condensate trung bình so với các loại condensate đã từng khai thác trước đây tại Việt Nam. Hiệu suất phân đoạn naphtha trong condensate Thiên Ưng khá cao (61,39 % khối lượng). Hàm lượng aromatic thuộc loại trung bình, mang đặc tính chung của dầu thô và condensate Việt Nam (hàm lượng lưu huỳnh, ni-tơ, nhựa và asphaltene đều thấp; hàm lượng kim loại vi lượng nickel, vanadium rất thấp).Kết quả nghiên cứu này bổ sung vào hệ thống cơ sở dữ liệu tính chất dầu khí Việt Nam, từ đó giúp lựa chọn, thiết kế công nghệ phù hợp để khai thác, sử dụng hiệu quả tài nguyên dầu khí trong nước.

Solid oxide electrolyzer cells with an Ni–Fe–yttria-stabilized zirconia (Ni-Fe-YSZ) hydrogen electrode as the cathode, lanthanum strontium ferrite (LSCF)-gadolinia-doped ceria (GDC) air electrode as the anode, and YSZ as the electrolyte were fabricated, and the oxidation protection effect of sacrificial Fe particles was investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that Ni was protected from oxidation under a water vapor atmosphere by sacrificial Fe. Scanning electron microscopy observations suggested that the Ni particles accumulated in the Ni-YSZ hydrogen electrode, which might have been associated with the partial oxidation of Ni during cell operation at 700 °C in 50% H2O/15% H2/35% Ar atmosphere. No appreciable microstructural changes were observed for the Ni–Fe–YSZ hydrogen electrode. Furthermore, the presence of the sacrificial Fe particles could be responsible for the superior durability of the cell, compared with that of the cell featuring the conventional Ni–YSZ hydrogen electrode.
