In order to construct a building that will last into the future, a strong foundation is a prerequisite. The foundation is a part of the building that isn’t visible in the finished structure, but is essential in erecting a building that will have the necessary strength to endure. The math and basic electrical concepts of this unit are very similar to the foundation of a building. The concepts in this unit are the essential basics that you must understand, because you’ll build upon them as you study electrical circuits and systems. As your studies continue, you’ll find that a good foundation in electrical theory and math will help you understand why the NEC contains certain provisions. This unit includes math and electrical fundamentals. You’ll be amazed at how often your electrical studies return to the basics of this unit. Ohm’s law and the electrical formulas related to it are the foundation of all electrical circuits. Every student begins at a different level of understanding, and you may find this unit an easy review, or you may find it requires a high level of concentration. In any case, be certain that you fully understand the concepts of this unit and are able to successfully complete the questions at the end of the unit before going on. A solid foundation will help in your successful study of the rest of this textbook.

The analysis of circuits is frequently required in the electricity of physics. When analyzing circuits, the general idea is to study the issues related to nonlinear resistance circuits based on commonly used physical and electrical theory. Generally, circuits can be divided into linear resistance circuits and nonlinear resistance circuits. However, for some nonlinear resistance circuit, a small part of them are decomposed through subsection linearity while most of them are adopted the form of hieroglyph combination for subsection decomposition fitting analysis. For the following contents, the author will adopt curve layout method to analyze nonlinear resistance element and relation characteristics of voltage and current; to state the characteristics and nature of common electronic elements in our life, and concepts of concave resistance and convex resistance; to analyze the characteristics of nonlinear resistance circuits through electrical circuit analysis method based on the electrical theorem of physics; finally, to analyze referring to actual cases, study the veracity, verify the feasibility and scientificity of the adopted analytical approach, apply image graphics of the resistance circuits in the convenient way to solve complicated design problems among actual electrical problems.

Because the over-voltage failure often occurs in the computer room, which is caused by the centerline cut in the case of three-phase load current unbalanced, and is brought by high-order harmonic. So we calculated, analysised and proved its cause and harm in electrical theory, and we have put forward some effective countermeasure to prevent the over-voltage.

If a frequency spectra or frequency response function is known for a structure what physical model can be generated to represent it? This is an important question for computer based simulations where a translation must be made between a spectra and a computer model. This is particularly difficult if damping is to be modelled. Investigation of electrical theory shows that this problem has been examined in detail due to the need to construct circuits that have specific spectra. However, before ideas can be borrowed from electrical theory it is necessary to develop vibration theory so that it aligns perfectly with electrical theory. To achieve this a method for representing mass is suggested which is a generalisation of the usual method and involves using a system of levers so that force is equal to mass times the derivative of relative velocity rather than absolute velocity. It is then shown that following electrical theory a damped spectra may be represented by an undamped sequence of masses and springs terminated by just one dashpot. Such a model is of considerable theoretical interest as well as having utility in computer simulations.
