In this chapter, there will be a presentation of how teaching models help teachers focus on different theories. The teaching model is a tool that will help teachers approach differentiated learning with students who have a diverse educational background. Teachers need to be aware of a diverse background and how to apply models for teaching different activities. If the correct model is selected teachers can use this to develop concepts based on objectives. The models may include instructional models, constructivism, problem-based, project-based, Socratic and inquiry based. Following are the key areas that will be discussed in this chapter; importance of a Teaching model, teaching model - (Glaser teaching model) – Looking at the objective, activity, assessment and reflection on improvements, information processing using a teaching model, Gagne's 9 stages of learning process to use in a Teaching model and conceptual models - take information, use it and respond to it (Instruction models, Constructivism, Problem based, Project based, Socratic Method, Inquiry based).

In this chapter, there will be a presentation of information on the uniqueness of students based on their multiple intelligence. Gardner's approach to multiple intelligence provides a combination of different techniques and methods that are a useful tool to map learning to other classes. Evaluating multiple intelligence in a collaborative classroom can be useful for a constructivist approach to differentiated learning. Following are key areas that will be discussed in this chapter; multiple intelligence in a differentiated environment: Gardner's approach, working with multiple intelligence in a collaborative environment, evaluating cognitive learning in a differentiated environment and constructivist approach to differentiated learning. Multiple intelligence, learning styles and learner profiles help teachers develop an accurate development process for students. Students can take the evaluation and give to teachers in other classes. This grouping of different techniques and models is useful for understanding the impact of a multicultural environment.

In this chapter, there will be a presentation of information on the development process of differentiated curriculum. Differentiated curriculum can be beneficial for the traditional and online classroom. Since a differentiated curriculum is developed unique for the student population, this is particularly useful for a multicultural student population. A differentiated lesson approach can be used to motivate students because of a unique approach to the lesson. Also by using differentiated lessons and models lesson preparation is a unique process for each different learning style. When working with a multicultural group of students it is necessary to setup an individual plan for each student focusing on the students learning style and profile. Following are key areas that will be discussed in this chapter; A differentiated approach to curriculum development, theoretical models that support differentiated learning, determining the learning style for differentiation. (multicultural), aligning the topic of study with differentiated learning, developing a plan to address the learning style using a differentiated approach. (multicultural) and encouraging students to interact and provide feedback for students. (multicultural)

In this chapter, there will be a presentation of information on learning analytics and how learning analytics can be used to help teachers and administrators manage measurements, collection and analysis of information. Learning analytics is a useful approach for assessing performance and is considered a valuable tool for developing multicultural curriculum. Assessing and monitoring the progress of students using learning analytics, measuring, collecting, analyzing and reporting information that can be useful to improve performance. Following are topics that will be discussed in this chapter; using learning analytics to track progress for each student, collecting, analyzing, measuring and reporting data, plan - setting goals and objectives, utilizing a method for collecting data, reviewing the data and develop a reporting process, using the data collected to improve performance and assessing the information and developing new approaches.

In this chapter, there will be a presentation of information on the development of curriculum and how curriculum is impacted by different learning styles. Different learning styles impact the development of curriculum and impacts the management of the classroom. Different learning styles are an important part of managing a diversified curriculum for a multicultural environment. It is important to understand the history of learning styles and how learning styles can be used to develop curriculum that will increase a learner's educational progress. Since students are unique in their learning process, understanding different learning styles can be useful to develop lessons that include Visual, Auditory, Verbal, Physical, Logical, Social (interpersonal), Solitary (intrapersonal) approaches is important. Following are key areas that will be discussed; history of learning styles, learning styles that impact a student's success, teachers impact on learning styles, managing a student's strengths and weaknesses by understanding different learning styles, different learning styles: Visual, Auditory, Verbal, Physical, Logical, Social (interpersonal), Solitary (intrapersonal), learning style tests/Personality Tests and maximizing learning styles in a multicultural environment.

In this chapter, there will be a presentation of information on the importance of how a multicultural population is impacted by different variables. The development of curriculum is managed successfully when a teacher understands the student population and what students need to be successful. Because of the change and diverseness in the student population there is also a need to have a differentiated approach to the development of curriculum based on the student requirements. Key areas that will be discussed are; creating an open environment that encourages interaction, theoretical perspective to learning, establishing different modes of communication, encouraging team and group interaction, engaging students in discussions that promote shared interest and class interaction, including information about yourself the teacher to create an online environment, spending time with students to determine interests and styles of learning, determining the competency level of the class and presenting curriculum to match and developing assessments to determine levels of competency.
