Information and Communications Technology (ICT) network readiness competency improves service quality and provides efficient service in implementing successful e-governments. By confirming ICT network readiness of e-governments, it must be redesigned using limited resources effectively to achieve realistic goals. When ICT investment and economic performance are featured, e-government’s network readiness competency improves potential demand, supply, and service maturity. It reflects information technology (IT) development competency on performance effectively. In this study, we propose the Data Envelope Analysis (DEA) method to present a method of improving ICT network readiness between countries. We derived the ICT network’s readiness competency level and strategic plan by comparing each country for efficient ICT operation of e-governments. If we make rankings in a non-traditional and efficient manner, it will become a successful strategy for ICT in the future. This effort provides guidance for each government and a solution for the growth delay problem, which is required for advancement in ICT investment and productivity. It also guides each government to overcome marginal products.

This paper analyses the opportunities of digital feedback delivery, its use in the translation classroom, and its application as the tool of active instruction and formative assessment at university level. A mixed research design involved 33 third-year students of Poltava University of Economics and Trade majoring in Translation. They participated in the study voluntarily in the spring term of 2019/2020 academic year. The effectiveness of the digital teacher feedback of different modality was estimated with the help of a questionnaire from two perspectives: students’ behavioral engagement associated with feedback convenience in use for translation revisions and their affective engagement concerning emotional saturation of the suggested type of digital feedback. Students’ preferences were collated with their results in leading sensory channel test and acquired translation competency level. According to the received data, overwhelming 69.7% of undergraduate translators appeared to be digitals as per their leading sensory channel, which had no statistically significant impact on the preferred feedback modality inversely to students’ translation competency level. The observed correlation proved the viability of both suggested digital feedback modalities at different stages of the training process. It was concluded that digital teacher feedback promotes the development of the students’ translation skills in particular and leverages formative assessment practices in the translation classroom in general.

Dance pedagogy is a complex and dynamic field of competency that involves various skills and self-appearance. Therefore, dance instructors must widen the scope of their competency to strengthen and improve their level. This research aimed to identify the competency of dance instructors teaching the practical subject of Malay Court Dance based on factors including the components of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, and professionalism. The data was collected from interviews with the instructors and was analyzed through thematic analysis. The findings indicated that the instructors’ competency level development could be mapped into three dimensions, namely orientation, agent, and competency content. It was concluded that art schools in Malaysia need to develop dance instructors’ competency in terms of (1) 21st-century learning needs, (2) vertical and horizontal knowledge sharing, (3) workshop, study tour, and competition, and (4) standardization of technological development relevant for curriculum, across knowledge, practical, and feeling domains.

Many previous studies found that there was dissatisfaction with graduate users with the competencies possessed by Accounting graduates. Importantly, Accounting graduates must prepare themselves for various competencies needed in the world of work. This purpose of this study is to examine whether there is a competency gap faced by the graduates of Accounting Department of the Padang State Polytechnic while performing their first job. This study uses a quantitative method. Sample selected purposively on the alumni of D-IV 4 Accounting at the Padang State Polytechnic with 54 respondents that had worked after graduation. The data analysis technique in this study used the sign test and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results show that there is a competency gap faced by alumni in the attributes of technical and IT skills except in presenting financial reports, planning and conducting audits, implementing internal controls, measuring company performance, using Office, accounting software and social media. There is also no difference found in competency level between graduates of 2019 and 2020.

The aim of this study was to assess the managerial and supervisory competency levels of public elementary school principals in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta Province. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 90 public elementary school principals. The data were analysed using a quantitatve approach. The results showed that the managerial competency level of these school principals was good. Continuing professional development (CPD) programs for principals are needed to further improve their competency levels. In addition, these CPD programs should focus on leadership rather than school management skills as the characteristics of the principal job have changed significantly. Nursing has embraced flexible online advanced education as a means of increasing the supply of nurse professionals. Virtual simulation and other adaptive learning technologies enhance learning efficiency and student outcomes. A simulated electronic health record (DocuCare) was adopted in an online graduate nursing informatics course. An assignment using DocuCare to learn core concepts of nursing informatics was developed for graduate students enrolled in a nursing informatics course. A validated standard informatics survey instrument was used to measure three individual domains (basic computer skills, roles, and advanced computer skills (clinical informatics)) as well as the combined informatics competency level. Overall, the nursing informatics competency level was between competent and proficient; basic computer skills and roles were above proficient; and advanced computer skills (clinical informatics) fell between competence and proficient levels.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the level of teacher core competency differs according to the teaching experience of a beauty school teacher. A survey was conducted to analyze the core competencies of beauty teachers. The analysis method is a one-way ANOVA. As a result of analyzing the core competency level of beauty teachers, ‘executive competency’ was the highest, followed by ‘attitude competency’, ‘knowledge competency’. In the case of knowledge, compared to ‘theoretical knowledge of the major and the major subject in charge’, ‘practical ability for the major and the major subject in charge’, ‘the ability to apply teaching and learning evaluation related to the major’, ‘the professor related to the major’, ‘Learning evaluation development ability’ was evaluated low, In the case of performance, the average was slightly higher than that of knowledge and attitude in all competencies, and the level of ‘the ability to instruct students to acquire a certificate related to a major’ was evaluated high. In terms of attitude, ‘the ability to communicate smoothly with peers’ was high. As a conclusion of this study, it was found that in order to respond to the internal and external beauty subject education environment and increase the quality change of beauty subject education, It is necessary to strengthen the competence of professional beauty teachers.

The quality of education depends on the teacher as well as to the curriculum. As the prime movers to attain the addressed goals in the curriculum, teachers must have the desire to grow and improve through professional development and constant learning towards students ‘academic achievement. The descriptive method of research was utilized in this study to assess the competency level of the MAPEH teachers in teaching performing arts based on the K to 12 Curriculum. Results of the study revealed that majority of the respondents were females, married and 40 years old and below. They earned units/finished their master’s degree, held a teacher position, and had 10 years and below teaching experience. With regard to artistic inclinations particularly in terms of dancing, majority of them have potential in folk dance and modern dance. In terms of music, some teachers could play musical instruments skillfully such as guitar and piano/organ. They were highly competent in using assessment data, monitoring students’ data and achievement, using ICT resources for the teaching-learning process, giving feedbacks, making good use of allotted time and employing design. Individual or group experiential learning, cooperative learning, project method and collaborative activities were most commonly used strategies in teaching performing arts. Meanwhile, lack of facilities and equipment and limited seminars, workshops, and trainings attended were the common problems encountered.
