The age of currently operated concrete airfield pavements in Poland exceeds 30 years opera-tion period many times. Such a long working life of airfield pavements forced to search for the efficient and fast technologies of their reconstruction. The article described in detail the technologies of fast reconstruction of airfield concrete slabs using prefabricated slabs. The addressed technology guarantees the reconstruction and even the improvement of the condi-tion of load-bearing capacity of mentioned airfield slabs which was confirmed during labora-tory tests, field tests and practically verified in the real operation in the International Airport Kraków-Balice.

Abstract This paper presents an analysis of timber-concrete composite beams. Said composite beams consist of rectangular timber beams and concrete slabs poured into the steel sheeting. The concrete slab is connected with the timber beam using special shear connectors. The authors of this article are trying to patent these connectors. The article contains results from a numerical analysis. It is demonstrated that the type of steel sheeting used as a lost formwork has an influence on the load-bearing capacity and stiffness of the timber-concrete composite beams.

Zusammenfassung Verbunddübelleisten bieten im Stahlverbundbau eine wirtschaftliche Alternative zu klassischen Verbundmitteln wie Kopfbolzendübeln. Moderne Verbunddecken werden in zunehmendem Maße filigraner ausgeführt und darüber hinaus werden oftmals haustechnische Funktionen in das tragende Deckenbauteil integriert. Um die hierfür erforderlichen geringen Deckendicken zu realisieren, können Verbunddübelleisten horizontal innerhalb der Betonplatte positioniert werden, woraus ein geringer seitlicher Abstand zum freien Betonplattenrand resultiert. Bisherige Untersuchungen beschreiben unterschiedliche Versagensbilder von Konstruktionen mit Verbunddübelleisten, beispielsweise Spalten der Betonplatte, Ausstanzen eines Betonkegels oder Plastizieren der Stahlzähne. An der Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern wurden im Rahmen eines gemeinsamen Forschungsprojektes mit der RWTH Aachen Push-out-Versuche durchgeführt, anhand derer das Tragverhalten von Verbunddübelleisten mit randnahen Einbaupositionen untersucht wurde. Hierbei wurden bisher unbekannte Versagensmechanismen beobachtet, die durch bestehende Bemessungsansätze für Verbunddübelleisten mit konventionellen (randfernen) Einbaupositionen nicht abgedeckt sind. Im Rahmen dieses Aufsatzes werden die Einflüsse der Parameter Betonfestigkeit, Plattendicke und Bewehrungsführung auf das Trag- und Verformungsverhalten randnaher Verbunddübelleisten analysiert und eine mechanische Modellvorstellung zum Lastabtrag randnaher Leisten vorgestellt.

In the course of the exploitation of building structures frequently situations turn up, in which the structure is not adequately used (it may, for instance, be exposed to considerably greater loads than previously been intended). In the state of an unforeseen overload of the structure, essential reserves of their load-bearing capacity may be disclosed in the case of the self-acting work as a flexible strand. The paper presents the results of investigations concerning the influence of the parameters of reinforcing steel on the mechanism of the destruction of six single-span models of narrow reinforced concrete slabs, in which a horizontal shift of the supports was not possible. The tests were carried out on narrow slabs with the dimensions 3860×480×100 mm. The results of the tests were compared with analytical calculations.

The calculation of the strength of concrete slabs load bearing capacity does not take into account synthetic sheets impact while calculating concrete-fi lled textile fl oor-mats. Further studies are proposed to assess the impact of sheets in laboratory environments. The authors base their study on the properties of concrete-fi lled textile fl oor-mats as fl exible beams and on synthetic sheets impact on strength indicators. The paper presents a laboratory study results obtained under diff erent conditions of textile synthetic sheets impact on concrete-fi lled textile fl oor-mats load bearing capacity. It provides a function to determine a mat thickness from the condition of its strength.
