A wavelength tunable optical filter based on a fiber Bragg grating using piezoelectric bimorph is realized in this paper, and the tuning condition is theoretically and experimentally analyzed. The Bragg central wavelength of the filter can be easily tuned adopting to a DC voltage. The maximum strain of the central wavelength depends upon the maximum operating voltage, and the tuning range efficiency was as high as 1.2pm/V, the reflectivity, shape and the reflective spectrums of the fiber Bragg grating central wavelength almost keep unchanged before and after tunning. This paper provides a reference for optical fiber Bragg grating tuner.with high efficiency.

AbstractWe report on a high efficiency deep-blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diode (POLED) based on new electron-transporting host material. The new electron-transporting host material is an adamantane derivative with high triplet energy and high electron mobility. The deep blue POLED that we have developed utilizes a deep-blue phosphorescent guest material, iridium(III)bis(4’,6’,-difluorophenylpyridinato)tetrakis(1-pyrazolyl)borate, and exhibits a power efficiency of about 10.2 lm/W at luminance of 100 cd/m2 and maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of about 13 %. The power efficiency of our POLED is much higher than that of POLED using p–bis(triphenylsilyly)benzene (UGH2). The maximum EQE of our POLED was also slightly more than that of POLED using UGH2. The obtained difference in power efficiency originates from the new host material having higher electron mobility than that of UGH2.

The dust collected in the polar plates can be washed out by a spraying system in the wet electrostatic precipitator. It is important to keep the spraying system having a high efficiency lest the dust returns to the gas again. The performance of the spraying system in the electrostatic precipitation and its influence on the dust collection efficiency are presented in the paper. The atomization characteristic of the spraying nozzle is measured by changing the water pressure and operating voltage. The results show that: Collection efficiency of the electrostatic precipitation is over 99.5 % when the water pressure is 0.4 MPa.When the spraying mists diameter is 100 μm, the collection efficiency is 92 % for the dust diameter under 10 μm. It will provide a basis for the design of spraying system in wet electrostatic precipitation by this analysis.

A high-efficiency photovoltaic module optimized for converting the monochromatic radiation with a wavelength of 809-850 nm is presented. The module comprises four photovoltaic converters with the total area of 16 cm2, which can provide the operating voltage of 4 V in the case of laser power greater than 1 W. The laser power converters are developed on the basis of AlGaAs/GaAs structures grown by LPE and MOVPE. When operating in the uniform illumination mode, the efficiency of the photovoltaic module is found to exceed 60% for the powerful laser radiation (6.2 W).
