In this research paper a design of Microstip patch antenna for the ultra-wide band (UWB) applications is presented. Ultra wide band antennas has very wide band of operation which accommodates many communication frequencies as set by the federal commission of communication. The UWB antennas is based on the micro strip patch antenna concept and the design of the antenna is based on the stack antenna or multi-layer antenna. Stacking is used in designing for increasing the bandwidth of the antenna so stacking concept is good for the designing of the UWB antenna. The feeding used to feed the antenna is micro strip line feed. Micro strip line feeding technique is one of very popular feeding technique to feed the antenna because its fabrication is very simple. The proposed design is simulated in the CADFEKO software which is very useful for the design and analysis of a wide range of electromagnetic problem. It has many applications to simulate 3D electromagnetic circuit included antenna design, micro strip antenna and circuits. The simulation results shows the antenna bandwidth of 13.9 GHz from 2.6 to 16.5 GHz. So we can clearly say that the antenna is ultra-wide band in nature.

In this article, the ultrawideband of micro-strip patch antenna is proposed bandwidth and gain were enhanced. The techniques that using to improve the gain and bandwidth are EBG slots and superstrate. The designed structure is implemented using computer simulation technology software (CST). The achievement gain of antenna is increased by 26.4% on 10.5 GHz of frequency. While the bandwidth of the proposed antenna is increased to 161%, the range from 2.67 to 26 GHz. This range of frequency is cover UWB, GPS, 5G mobile cellular, LTE, WLAN 802.11b/g UMTS2000, WiMAX, PCS1900, TD-SCDMA and Bluetooth applications. On the other hand, the ability of the superstrate allows to smaller leverage on the cross polarization accomplishment of an antenna slots. The compares between impedance bandwidth and gain by way of like the radiation patterns are debated at competence of benefit. Finally, there are perfect harmony between simulated and fabricated results.

A new class of broadband microstrip filters for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) applications is proposed. In the design, different stages of parallel-coupled microstrip line and other stages with a Modified Complementary Split Ring Resonator (MCSRR)—a concept proposed here for the first time—are adjusted to obtain the desired response with broadband, sharp rejection, low insertion loss, and low return loss. Full wave simulation results as well as measurement results from fabricated prototypes are presented, showing good agreement. The proposed technique offers a new alternative to implement low-cost high-performance filter devices, applicable to a wide range of communication systems.

A novel feeding structure in magneto-electric dipole antenna is proposed and analyzed, which is simpler and better in performance than previous designs, involving differential feeding.  Due to this improved feeding structure, the antenna has achieved an impedance bandwidth of 133.3% ( 0.5 GHz – 2.5 GHz, resulting into an ultra-wide band antenna. The maximum broadside gain 7.5dBi with unidirectional radiation pattern has also been reported for the entire the range of operation. Symmetry in E-plane and H-plane radiation patterns has been observed due to the symmetry in structure and excitation of antenna. The antenna has also been able to achieve cross polarization levels.
