One of the most famous techniques of non-coherent differential chaos shift keying (DCSK) is Quadrature chaos shift keying (QCSK) system, this system suffered from lowering the data rate and increasing the bit energy during the bit transmission even though its rate doubling the one of the DCSK. Short reference (SR) algorithm is proposed for the QCSK system to design the SR-QCSK communication system that enhances these drawbacks. The main idea of the short reference technique is minimizing the length of the reference chaotic signal (β) at a transmitter by a factor P comparing to produce R samples for the new reference signal while the length of the information-bearing signal remained unchanged, this occurs by duplicating the reference signal P times to get the same length as the conventional QCSK. Therefore, the symbol duration is reduced from 2βTc to (R+β)Tc. The data rate and energy saving improvement factor in a percent form is derived and compared with the QCSK and DCSK systems. Also, the BER analytical expression is derived for the SR-QCSK in additive white Gaussian noise and Rayleigh fading channel. The experimental simulation results proved that the theory derivation gives a good analysis tracking for the BER performance. The SR-QCSK system is compared with other DCSK techniques and the simulation results show that it has a superior performance in the multipath Rayleigh fading channel.

As multi-antenna being used in MIMO system to transmit signals with the same carrier frequency, one physical channel will contain multi-virtual independent Rayleigh fading channel (VIRFC), among which very small relative time delay is existed, so the definition in MIMO theory for the independent Rayleigh fading channel (IRFC) in MIMO system is wrong. Based on the Shannon formula and the principle of phase-controlled antenna array, an SHPCA system would be presented in the paper to substitute the MIMO system, as well as the 3-dimensional channel capacity formula with its capacity proportional to the number of antennas and that of space division multiplex (SDM), which would have higher efficiency than Shannon formula. Also the principle and research method to obtain the gain of channel capacity would be given in the paper, so as the simulation results.

In this paper, I have presented the performance evaluation of different STBC technique in MIMO Rayleigh fading environment. I have evaluated the BER of SISO, MISO and MIMO technique. I have proved that the lowest value of BER is achieved in STBC technique. I have evaluated the BER of real STBC and complex STBC technique with Rayleigh fading channel. The STBC technique is also reduced the complexity of the receiver. We have also compared the performance of MIMO technique with other techniques like SISO and MISO. The lowest value of BER is achieved in MIMO technique. The STBC technique is exploit the diversity gain by inserting more number of antennas at transmitter side. Simulation results are based on MATLAB software.

The work presented considers a Physical Layer Network Coded (PNC) communication which is affected by Intersymbol Interference (ISI) due to Rayleigh fading channel. A pre-equalizer filter configured to combat the ISI is considered at the end nodes. The relay uses the Amplify and Forward (AF) strategy. The signal in the Multiple Access (MAC) phase is amplified at the relay and forwarded to the receiving nodes. The signal received by the end nodes in the broadcast (BC) phase is subjected to post-equalization by a receiver filter configured to overcome ISI. The performance of the PNC with only pre-equalizer applied, only post-equalization applied and the combined effect of pre-equalizer and post-equalizer is simulated .Simulation results indicate that the performance of PNC when only pre-equalizer applied , only post-equalization is applied are not much varying but better than the no equalization case. But the combined effect of pre-and post-equalization is much improved.
