This research is related to the importance of the Green Supply Chain Management within in Healthcare sector. Further, the challenges related to it are also discussed. Green building operations are necessary not only for the population but for the environment as well. Awareness related to it is increasing especially in the area of the supply chain management areas. Efficient Supply chain management is necessary within the healthcare sector. Social & economic benefits are generated through green supply chain management. Supply chain management plays a significant role in waste management. Communication & government challenges are considered to be some of the challenges of the Green Supply Chain Management within in Healthcare sector.

Uncertainties and unpredictability in the market force companies to develop strategies which enable them to perform better than their competitors. Developing proper strategies for a supply chain is crucial. Strategies are affected by the nature of the firm's products or services, customer preferences, operations, process design of the firm, etc. Companies should form adaptive supply chain strategies which enable them to be resilient and flexible enough in the flow of materials, products, information, and money along the supply chain. There are many studies about supply chain management and supplier selection in the literature. However, the number of studies about the selection of the right supply chain strategy are very limited. This study presents the components which help to constitute a supply chain strategy and classify the supply chain strategies described in the literature. Lastly, it offers a strategy and criteria matrix which can be used as a road map for selecting the most appropriate supply chain strategy by firms.

<p>This paper aims to understand factors determining location decision, or country selection of Readymade Garments (RMG) outsourcing in global supply chain management. In the process, this article fills a knowledge gap by proposing a unique model that relates country determinant factors and firm’s motives to location choice specific for RMG outsourcing moderated by firm’s size and age. The overall framework enlightens the scholars about the significance of distinguishing factors as the basis for differential outsourcing location decisions. Multinational managers may find it useful to identify the optimum outsourcing location decisions considering idiosyncratic factors that are unique to RMG outsourcing location decision. </p>

The upstream enterprises play an important role in the whole supply chain management, and how to select a better upstream enterprise in the supply chain is studied in this paper. First, the index system for the selection of upstream enterprises is established. Then based on the index system, the evaluation model is discussed based on the thinking of AHP. Finally, the application of the index system and the evaluation algorithm is shown through a case.

This study sought to utilize Six Sigma techniques to guide the design and selection of promotional materials and strategies to attract college students to an undergraduate Supply Chain Management major. Affinity Diagramming was used to collect and summarize students’ comments on what factors they considered when selecting a career. Pareto was used to prioritize their responses. Quality Function Deployment was used to align promotional materials and strategies to ensure that they addressed the factors identified by the students. Six unique promotional materials and strategies were identified as the most effective in attracting students to the Supply Chain Management major.
