To maintain the vehicle air conditioner efficiently, a fault diagnosis system based on fuzzy theory is prospected in this paper. A fault diagnosis method based on fuzzy theory was given. And according to the method, a fault diagnosis program was written with labview. Experiments proved that the fault diagnosis program was stable and functional. The accuracy of this fault diagnosis system is more than 80%. The system can be used to diagnosed the malfunction of vehicle air conditioner efficiently and discover the potential fault in time, helping to eliminate hidden dangers.

Based on analyzing the problem of tap worn and broken in the tapping process, the faults in tapping process are classified into four types: tap worn, chips jamming, uneven hardness of material and the tapping process failure; According to the fuzzy theory, this paper describes the torque characteristic of the four types of faults, ascertains the characteristic vector of fault, presents the weight matrix among faults, puts forward the judgment method of system faults and establishes the fuzzy fault diagnosis system in tapping process. The experimental study shows that the fuzzy diagnosis method can effectively identify the four types of faults in tapping process and guard against tap broken.

The relationship between fault phenomenon and fault cause is always nonlinear, which influences the accuracy of fault location. And neural network is effective in dealing with nonlinear problem. In order to improve the efficiency of uncertain fault diagnosis based on neural network, a neural network fault diagnosis method based on rule base is put forward. At first, the structure of BP neural network is built and the learning rule is given. Then, the rule base is built by fuzzy theory. An improved fuzzy neural construction model is designed, in which the calculated methods of node function and membership function are also given. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of this method.

in the thesis we introduce fuzzy mathematic method into fault diagnosis of hydraulic pressure system, bring forward the fuzzy membership grade method which is based on the history data and expert preferential ordinal number, set up a mathematical model of fault diagnosis, and carry out the fuzzy diagnosis on hydraulic pressure system fault in computer. The example shows that this method is advantageous to accuracy and credibility of decision and is valid and viable in the application.

Focuses on how to dispose the multi-source uncertain information and promote the testability evaluation and fault diagnosis capability of the electronic equipment, this paper uses fuzzy theory in the uncertain information description and modeling. Based on the fuzzy set description of fuzzy target, new method is proposed to obtain fuzzy evidences from fuzzy fault features, and then, Dempster-Shafer combination rule are used to fuse multi-source fuzzy evidence to get diagnosis results. The proposed method of fuzzy evidence extraction can reduces uncertainties in fusion makings and improves fault identifications, and the fusion diagnosis method based on multi fuzzy evidence matching enhances the precision and reliability of the system fault diagnosis decision furthermore.

Fault symptom of a type of ammunition’s flight control system shows fuzzy, and there is no intelligent fault diagnosis method for this control system fault diagnosis. This paper studies on intelligent fault diagnosis of terminally guide projectile based on fuzzy theory. The procedure of fuzzy fault diagnosis is shown. Combining with the practical situation of a type of ammunition’s flight control system and a large quantity of expert’ experience knowledge, the fuzzy diagnosis model is established. After given fuzzy diagnosis matrix, fault diagnosis of a type of ammunition’s flight control system was done as example. It practicability and credibility is shown by fault diagnosis result, and application of fuzzy theory in diagnosing the fault of a type of ammunition’s flight control system is proved valid. Two piece of proposal is proposed after analyzing the function parameter changing of this control system stored in storehouse longtime.

Automobile fault diagnosis is one of the hot issues in detection and diagnosis technology of automobile. The automobile fault has the characteristics of uncertainty and complexity problems. To solve the problems of qualitative description from drivers into quantitative, fuzzy mathematics is introduced. In addition, the fuzzy relationship of automobile fault and fault causes is expressed by setting the membership functions and fuzzy relation matrix. Finally, the qualitative analysis of real cases is present. The fuzzy theory and expert system for automobile fault diagnosis method is proved accurately through the algorithm analysis and real cases.

In order to diagnosing new fault for hybrid system which is lack of experiential knowledge and historic knowledge, semi-quantitative fault diagnosis method based on graph theory and fuzzy theory combined with functional fault analysis (FFA) theories and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) is studied. And a multi-hierarchical functional directed graph modeling method is proposed for aircraft system fault diagnosis. Nacelle Anti-Ice subsystem of an aero engine is taken as a specific application to present the detailed MHFDG modeling method. The proposed modeling method is suitable for fault diagnosis of newly developed hybrid system.

Aiming at the irregularity of the fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer planetary gear, a fault diagnosis method based on support vector data description (SVDD) is proposed. The working condition of the helicopter is complex and changeable, and the fault characteristics of the planetary gear also show irregularity with the change of working conditions. It is impossible to diagnose the fault by the regularity of a single fault feature; so a method of SVDD based on Gaussian kernel function is used. By connecting the energy characteristics and fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer running state signal and performing vector quantization, the planetary gear of the helicopter main reducer is characterized, and simultaneously couple the multi-channel information, which can accurately characterize the operational state of the planetary gear’s state.
