Given the global economic and societal importance of the polymer industry, the continuous search for improvements in the various processing techniques is of practical primordial importance. This review evaluates the application of optimization methodologies to the main polymer processing operations. The most important characteristics related to the usage of optimization techniques, such as the nature of the objective function, the type of optimization algorithm, the modelling approach used to evaluate the solutions, and the parameters to optimize, are discussed. The aim is to identify the most important features of an optimization system for polymer processing problems and define the best procedure for each particular practical situation. For this purpose, the state of the art of the optimization methodologies usually employed is first presented, followed by an extensive review of the literature dealing with the major processing techniques, the discussion being completed by considering both the characteristics identified and the available optimization methodologies. This first part of the review focuses on extrusion, namely single and twin-screw extruders, extrusion dies, and calibrators. It is concluded that there is a set of methodologies that can be confidently applied in polymer processing with a very good performance and without the need of demanding computation requirements.

The purpose of this research is to explore the spread dynamics of a novel coronavirus outbreak, or 2019-nCOV via a fractional approach of type fractal-fractional (FF) derivative. We considered the FF approach in sense of the Atangana–Baleanu derivative for the system 2019-nCOV. In the FF operator, when we choose fractional-order one, we achieve the fractal model and when choosing fractal order one then we obtain a fractional model and while considering both the operators together we obtain the fractal-fractional model. The obtained results show via graphics for the different collections of fractal and fractional orders. The graphical results show the new operator impacts on a practical situation in a more visual way.

Abstract A NodeMCU controlled tortoise-shaped bandwidth reconfigurable antenna for 4G and 5G applications depending upon the condition of the PIN diode switch is presented in this paper. By using FR-4 substrate and limited ground plane antenna is designed with a dimensions of 33 × 22 × 1 mm3. The fabricated antenna is working for Wi-Fi, INSAT C-band, & direct broadcast service in the Ku band with a frequency range of 2.13–2.98 GHz, 6.86–8.42 GHz, and 12.03–13.13 GHz, respectively. PIN diode used to adjust the operational frequency ranges, which will be operated by the NodeMCU module. When the PIN diode is in the OFF state, the design antenna resonates at 2.24, 7.81, and 13.70 GHz, and when the PIN diode is in the ON state, it resonates at 2.45, 7.21, and 12.46 GHz. The designed antenna has a gain of 2.2 to 3.25 dB. In the ON state, the proposed bandwidth reconfigurable antenna has a radiation efficiency of more than 92 percent at all operational frequencies. The measured and simulated (CST Microwave Studio) findings are very similar. The CDAC Cmote unit examines the proposed reconfigurable antenna in a practical situation, and sensor data is successfully sent to the cloud. The data is analyzed using the machine learning technique.

According to the theory of active education and Mathematics teaching in secondary schools, there are five steps designed for geometrical knowledge and four stages for the process of applying the examined circumstances. The research objective aims to evaluate the effectiveness and feasibility of the suggestion focused on the process of constructing and manipulating situations in teaching Geometry. The research method uses the case study in the specific teaching process, which was conducted with 24 teachers who have taught Mathematics at secondary schools over three months from August 2019 to October 2019; and 30 secondary school students between May 2020 and July 2020. Finally, the result shows that all teachers agree that the design and application process is appropriate and effective for their lesson. In terms of the student's aspect, the case study reveals that the application of various steps in the process is beneficial for improving geometric deductive and spatial estimation, as well as using theoretical knowledge in the practical situation. Based on the research, this paper will clarify some solutions related to the way to design processes and utilize them in some Geometry content in secondary schools in Vietnam.

Adversarial examples are regarded as a security threat to deep learning models, and there are many ways to generate them. However, most existing methods require the query authority of the target during their work. In a more practical situation, the attacker will be easily detected because of too many queries, and this problem is especially obvious under the black-box setting. To solve the problem, we propose the Attack Without a Target Model (AWTM). Our algorithm does not specify any target model in generating adversarial examples, so it does not need to query the target. Experimental results show that it achieved a maximum attack success rate of 81.78% in the MNIST data set and 87.99% in the CIFAR-10 data set. In addition, it has a low time cost because it is a GAN-based method.

As the dangerous level of floor water inrush in Chinese coal field is becoming more and more serious annually, the widely used formulas of broken floor rock mass are belonged to nonlinear type or empirical type. However, they are not well conformed to the practical situation and including mining underground pressure. The biggest depth of broken floor rock mass and the length of gob-floor or mining-floor until the maximum broken floor location are expressed by theoretical formulas on integrity theory. Taking a mining face in Chinese Anhui Province as the object, the relationship between broken floor rock mass and mining underground pressure is studied by numerical simulation, the theoretical analysis, and the DC exploration. The peak and scope of broken floor rock mass will enlarge until reaching limit value with the increasingly advanced distance. The mining gob stress contour is saddle-shaped, and its growing speed is becoming slower, so the 180 m coal mining face has reached the sufficient mining stage. Wave velocity of broken floor rock mass from 0 m to 16 m is greatly decreased by the mining disturbance, and it is basically conformed to theoretical formula and practical situation. The results can be relatively better used in the pressure mining of the Ordovician limestone, because it can provide some safe guarantee for mining deep coal seam.

Colleges and universities provide students, who have financial difficulties, with employment guidance service and entrepreneurship education. One of the critical problems is to effectively improve the management effectiveness of employment service and entrepreneurship education for these kinds of students. The management of this service and education should be constantly innovated. Based on the practical situation and the current Internet technologies, a new management mode and its details are put forward in this article, and the author seeks to provide reference to who are involved.

This chapter focuses on the role that emotion plays in virtue, emphasizing that acting virtuously is the central and most important dimension of virtue. It analyses the centrality of roles in virtue as a matter of their being tied to virtuous action, which is more central than every role in virtue that is not tied to virtuous action. It also discusses reference to virtue in other traditions that serves to emphasize the moral significance of certain ways of being, instead of doing. The chapter concentrates on two virtues: compassion and courage, and two emotions: sympathy and fear. It argues that having a modified sympathy trait is indispensable to being a reliably correct judge of which action require compassion in a practical situation.
