To control wheeled inverted pendulum is a good way to test all kinds of theories of control. The control law is designed, and it based on the collaborative simulation of MATLAB and ADAMS is used to control wheeled inverted pendulum. Then, with own design of hardware and software of control system, sliding mode control is used to wheeled inverted pendulum, and the experimental results of it indicate short adjusting time, the small overshoot and high performance.

In order to manage the complex simulation data management in the process of mechanical dynamics simulation, a new management model was presented which is Performance Simulation Model(PSM). The model was based on PDM product structure and the concepts and elements of PSM were defined in this paper. Furthermore, the functional framework of PSM was proposed which based on the hierarchical relationship of product structure and the data stream relationship of data structure matrix. Finally, PSM was applied on ship planetary reducer collaborative simulation platform. The result indicates that the simulation data in mechanical collaborative simulation are managed by PSM, and the problem of interaction between collaborative simulation and PDM is solved.

Multi-channel Virtual reality simulation technology is a kind of simulation technology, which support the grand scene and high degree of immersion, has better visualization effect. In this paper, a moving target monitoring collaboratory simulation technology based on multi-channel is studied. Firstly, study the mathematical modeling foundation of Multi-Channel technology systematically, based on the mobile target spatial model and co-simulation technology, select the appropriate applications of multi-channel technology, building laboratory simulation platform and achieved a space-based six-degree of freedom simulation of multi-channel moving target monitoring simulation. The experiment has proved that in multi-channel target monitoring co-simulation technology used in this paper has strong practicality, combine with a moving target-space model and co-simulation technology, the advantages of objective observation to solve the requirements like large-scale, realism, immersion requirements, etc.

Caterpillar plays an important role in engineering. While the problems existed affect on its reliability. Because of the testing condition it is difficult to solve some problems in fault mechanics. Nowadays the reliability just relies on the maintenance and repair which deeply affect its efficiency. With the rapid and widely used of collaborative simulation based on interfaces in Caterpillar, in this paper collaborative simulation based on interfaces is researched in Caterpillar which will reduce or replace the experimentation. An example on the planetary frame demonstrate the feasible. Collaborative simulation based on interfaces applied in caterpillar will be an efficiency approach to engineering.
