Various aspects of the de Rham cohomology of Hopf algebras are discussed. In particular, it is shown that the de Rham cohomology of an algebra with the differentiable coaction of a cosemisimple Hopf algebra with trivial 0-th cohomology group, reduces to the de Rham cohomology of (co)invariant forms. Spectral sequences are discussed and the van Est spectral sequence for Hopf algebras is introduced. A definition of Hopf–Lie algebra cohomology is also given.

The existence of Kähler Einstein metrics with mixed cone and cusp singularity has received considerable attentions in recent years. It is believed that such kind of metric would give rise to important geometric invariants. We computed their [Formula: see text]-Hodge–Frölicher spectral sequence under the Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions and examine the pure Hodge structures on them. It turns out that these cohomologies agree well with the de Rham cohomology of a good compactification.

Abstract We give counterexamples to the degeneration of the Hochschild-Kostant-Rosenberg spectral sequence in characteristic p, both in the untwisted and twisted settings. We also prove that the de Rham-HP and crystalline-TP spectral sequences need not degenerate.

Abstract Building upon work of Epstein, May and Drury, we define and investigate the mod p Steenrod operations on the de Rham cohomology of smooth algebraic stacks over a field of characteristic $p>0$ . We then compute the action of the operations on the de Rham cohomology of classifying stacks for finite groups, connected reductive groups for which p is not a torsion prime and (special) orthogonal groups when $p=2$ .

We give the full structure of the Ext algebra of any Nichols algebra of Cartan type A2 by using the Hochschild–Serre spectral sequence. As an application, we show that the pointed Hopf algebras [Formula: see text] with Dynkin diagrams of type A, D, or E, except for A1 and A1 × A1 with the order NJ > 2 for at least one component J, are wild.

In his 1982 paper, Ogus defined a class of cycles in the de Rham cohomology of smooth proper varieties over number fields. This notion is a crystalline analogue of$\ell$-adic Tate cycles. In the case of abelian varieties, this class includes all the Hodge cycles by the work of Deligne, Ogus, and Blasius. Ogus predicted that such cycles coincide with Hodge cycles for abelian varieties. In this paper, we confirm Ogus’ prediction for some families of abelian varieties. These families include geometrically simple abelian varieties of prime dimension that have non-trivial endomorphism ring. The proof uses a crystalline analogue of Faltings’ isogeny theorem due to Bost and the known cases of the Mumford–Tate conjecture.
