The main problems of grape storage are berry dehydration and rot. One of the solutions to reduce rot and preserve the quality of grapes during storage is the use of aerosol treatment with calcium content before storing. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of physiologically active substances based on calcium in various concentrations on the quality and organoleptic characteristics of table grape cvs. ‘Italia’ during long-term storage. The effectiveness of the studied systems of treatment was evaluated according to the content of sugars and titratable acids, the activity of the redox enzymes of polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase, weight loss of bunch and organoleptic properties. The greatest effectiveness established by using preparation of Master Green Ca, Brentax KCa, and Brentax Ca (in concentration 150g / 20l). Experimental treatments significantly decreased the weight loss of bunch (less than 4%), and preserved organoleptic properties of berry at a high level (8.2-8.9 points). Decrease in the activity of oxidative enzymes had a positive effect on the quality of table grapes and contributed to its better preservation. The data obtained make it possible to rationalize the system of long-term storage of grapes by using of aerosol treatment with calcium-based preparation.

Nowadays in the context of innovative development the bread intended for long-term storage is necessary in hard-to-reach areas of Sverdlovsk region, participants of expeditions, workers of logging, geological parties, etc. Taking into account the constant demand for such products, it is necessary to develop new approaches to their creation.The aim of the study was the development of long-term storage bread from wheat flour, preserving consumer characteristics throughout the shelf life.The synergism of betulin,nisin and ascorbic acid was studied for the first time when they are used together to inhibit potato bread disease (hereinafter CBH). It is proved that the use of additives, including 0.015% nisin together with 0.005% betulin to the mass of flour increases the shelf life of wheat bread up to 7 days since betulin inhibits CBH, nisin inhibits the development of mold under pH conditions in the range of 5.5-6.5.For the first time, a technique is proposed for producing betulin nanosuspension with a high degree of dispersion. The effect of betulin nanosuspension with emulsifiers of calcium lactylate, polyglycerol fatty acid esters, lecithin on the inhibition of CBH and an increase in the shelf life of wheat bread was studied.

`Redcort Cortland' and `Redmax' and `Summerland McIntosh' apples (Malus ×domestica Borkh.) were treated with 900 nL·L-1 of 1-methylcyclopropene (1-MCP) for 24 hours at 20 °C before storage and were kept at 3 °C in either a controlled atmosphere (CA) of 2 kPa O2 and <2.5 kPa CO2 or in an air (RA) environment for up to 9 months. After 4.5 months, half of the fruit were treated with a second 900 nL·L-1 1-MCP application in air at 3 °C for 24 hours and then returned to RA or CA storage. At harvest and following removal at 3, 6, and 9 months and a 7-day shelf life at 20 °C, fruit firmness, titratable acidity (TA) and soluble solids content (SSC) were measured, while internal ethylene concentrations (IEC) in the apple core were quantified after 1 day at 20 °C. Upon storage removal and following a 21-day shelf life at 20 °C, disorder incidence was evaluated. 1-MCP-treated apples, particularly those held in CA-storage, were more firm and had lower IEC than untreated fruit. Higher TA levels were maintained with 1-MCP in all three strains from both storages, while SSC was not affected. Following the 6- and/or 9-month removals, 1-MCP suppressed superficial scald development in all strains and reduced core browning and senescent breakdown in RA-stored `Redmax' and `Summerland' and senescent breakdown in RA-stored `Redcort'. 1-MCP generally maintained the quality of `Cortland' and `McIntosh' fruit held in CA and RA environments (particularly the former) to a higher degree than untreated apples over the 9-month storage period. A second midstorage application of 1-MCP at 3 °C did not improve poststorage fruit quality above a single, prestorage treatment.

The article examined the efficiency of using an electrophysical installation to ensure the long-term storage of raw sugar products. Experimental studies of sugar beets of the second degree of infection of the Koksu sugar factory. As a result, it was found that in order to increase the shelf life of sugar products, the most optimal regimen is treatment with ozone with a concentration of 8 g/m3 for 20 minutes and an overpressure of 3 or 5 ati.

Площади под свеклой в Российской Федерации колеблются в пределах 65-68 тыс. га, что составляет 7% от общей площади, занятой овощными культурами. Вопросы, связанные с продолжительностью хранения и периодического воспроизведения на всхожесть семян остаются актуальными. В работе исследованы изменения таких важнейших посевных качеств, как энергия прорастания и всхожесть семян столовой свеклы на примере сорта Двусемянная ТСХА после различных сроков хранения. Благодаря селекционной работе можно значительно увеличить сроки хозяйственной годности семян и продолжительность их биологической жизнеспособности. Цель исследований: оценка влияния сроков хранения семян столовой свеклы сорта Двусемянная ТСХА на их посевные качества (всхожесть и энергия прорастания). Для этого определяли всхожесть и энергию прорастания семян столовой свеклы различных семей сорта Двусемянная ТСХА в условиях длительного хранения, изучили полевую всхожесть семян в условиях длительного хранения, установили оптимальные сроки хранения. Полевая всхожесть отдельных семей существенно отличалась. В некоторых случаях, особенно после продолжительного хранения, разница достигала 70%. Наглядно показано, что энергия прорастания и всхожесть семян слабо изменяются в течение четырех лет при отсутствии различных обработок. Выявлено влияние погодных условий в год выращивания семян и генотипических различий семей, что рекомендуется учитывать в селекции и при производстве элитных семян. Результаты исследования свидетельствуют о высокой биологической долговечности семян свеклы (более 16 лет), даже при хранении в комнатных условиях. Это важно при репродукции, так как в результате потепления климата изменяется направленность отбора в сторону более позднеспелых форм, менее перерастающих и устойчивых к растрескиванию и деформации корнеплодов. Высокое качество семенного материала культурных растений зависит от условий формирования семян. The area under red beet in the Russian Federation ranges from 65-68 thousand ha, which is 7% of the total area occupied by vegetables. Questions related to the duration of storage and periodic reproduction for seed germination are relevant. The work investigated the changes in such important sowing qualities as the germination energy and germination of red beet seeds using the example of the Dvusemyannaya TSKHA variety, after different storage periods. Thanks to the conduct of breeding work, it is possible to significantly increase the terms of economic shelf life of seeds and the duration of their biological viability. The aim of the study was to assess the effect of the shelf life of seeds of red beet variety Dvusemyannaya TSKHA on their sowing qualities (germination and germination energy). To do this, we determined the germination and germination energy of seeds of red beet from different families of the variety Dvusemyannaya TSKHA under conditions of long-term storage, studied the field germination of seeds under conditions of long-term storage, and established the optimal storage periods. Field germination of individual families differed significantly. In some cases, especially as a result of long-term storage, the difference reached 70%. It is clearly shown that the energy of germination and germination of seeds change little over four years in the absence of various treatments. The influence of weather conditions in the year of seed cultivation and genotypic differences of families was revealed. It is recommended to take these factors into account in breeding and in the production of elite seeds. The research results presented by the author indicate a high biological longevity of beet seeds, even when stored in room conditions, which is more than 16 years. This is important for reproduction, since because of climate warming, the direction of selection changes towards later-maturing forms that are less outgrowing and resistant to cracking and deformation of root crops. The high quality of the seed material of cultivated plants depends on the conditions of seed formation.
