This paper aims to model the effect of density in 7, 14, 28 days on compressive strength of Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC) in same compaction and curing conditions by Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology using vary range of 5 variables: Silica fume (SF), Steel Fiber, Cement 42.5, Superplasticizer (SP), and water cemetiotious ratio (w/c).The results shows the significance effect of density on compressive strength of UHPC in different days, The models are valid for the mixes made with 1.0 sand, 0.15-0.30 silica fume amount, 0.70-1.30 cement amount, 0.10- 0.20 steel fiber, 0.04- 0.08 superplasticizer (all values are by sand by weight mass) and 0.18- 0.32 water cementitious ratio.

Replacing cement and silica fume with glass powder to prepare ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) is beneficial to solve the ecological problem in the field of civil engineering, but the technologies of preparation, transportation, pumping, and hardening of UHPC mainly relate to its rheological property. Therefore, this paper studied the influence of glass powder on the rheological properties of UHPC paste by performing the flow and the rheological test. Experimental results showed that when the cement and silica fume partially replaced by glass powder, the UHPC paste appears shear thickening, yield stress, plastic viscosity, and area of hysteresis loop decrease. This means that mixing glass powder can somehow inhibit the problems of segregation and bleeding of UHPC during pumping. In this manner, the dosage of the superplasticizer in UHPC is appropriately reduced, the filling capacity of UHPC during pouring is improved, and the energy required for UHPC in the pumping process is weakened. Compared with replacing cement, replacing silica fume with glass powder significantly increases the shear thickening and fluidity of UHPC paste, and at the same, reduces its yield stress and plastic viscosity. This indicates that the construction performance of UHPC is greatly improved with the replacement of silica fume. The fluidity and yield stress of UHPC paste satisfy the quadratic polynomial function relationship, and the replacement of cement and silica fume with glass powder should be less than 33% and 50%, respectively. Under this condition, the rheological properties of the UHPC paste are greatly improved and result in little negative impact on the mechanical properties of UHPC.

Flexural strength evaluation models for steel fiber reinforced ultra high strength concrete were suggested and evaluated with test results. Suggested flexural strength models were composed of compression stress blocks and tension stress blocks. Rectangular stress block, triangular stress block, and real distribution shape of stress were used on compression side. Under tension, rectangular stress block distributed to whole area of tension side and partial area of tension side was used. The last model for tension side is realistic stress distribution. All these models were verified with test result which was carried out in this study. Test was conducted by four-point loading with 2,000 kN actuator for slender beam specimen. Additional verifications were carried out with previous researches on flexural strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete or ultra high strength concrete. Total of 21 test specimens were evaluated. As a result of comparison for flexural strength of section, neutral axis depth at ultimate state, models with triangular compression stress block, and strain-softening type tension stress block can be used as exact solution for ultra high performance concrete. For the conservative and convenient design of section, modified rectangular stress block model can be used with strain softening type tension stress block.
