The pre-eminent motivation behind this contribution lies in the intention to offer students of three-year degree course in education and training sciences and master's degree in pedagogical sciences of the University of Macerata a further support than those already existing, aimed at expanding the educational meaningfulness of the internship experience. The main criticality of such experience is connected with the difficulty in translating knowledge, models, ideas into appropriate activities. This notably refers to the conceptual and educational core of the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and, consistently, to the skill to act. Therefore, after a deepening of the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, followed by related pedagogical reflections based on the capability approach, the paper presents an operative proposal aimed at increasing young people's possibilities of action and supporting their personal and professional growth. With regard to this training proposal, the theoretical and methodological framework refers to the third generation cultural historical activity theory and to the tool of the boundary crossing laboratory, variant of the change laboratory

Abstract This research aims to prove the effectiveness of Spanish as a Second Language lessons for Haitians designed by volunteers in Santiago de Chile. The methodology used through the study was based on the application of two questionnaires to Haitian students in order to compare results, and finally obtain an average that reflects the achievement of the communicative functions expected. Results indicate that neither the lessons planned, material giver nor the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages fulfilled such expectations. Findings are discussed in relation to previous studies on methodologies for Spanish as a Second Language for Haitian immigrants in Chile (Toledo, 2016)

El presente artículo se adentra en dos inflexiones, y lo que podría ser el exordio de una tercera, en la evolución de las políticas públicas referidas al acceso a la vivienda social en Chile; las dos primeras corresponden al periodo 1970-1989, y la última está en desarrollo. La primera inflexión representa la culminación de un proceso que se venía dando desde el siglo xix y que deriva en el reconocimiento de la vivienda como un derecho social; la segunda inflexión corresponde a la negación de tal derecho por la instalación de un modelo de Estado subsidiario neoliberalen el contexto de la dictadura cívico-militar chilena; la tercera plantea una disyuntiva con la evolución actual del problema de la vivienda en el contexto de un proceso dialéctico de reestructuración-desestructuración del neoliberalismo implementado en Chile. Las dos inflexiones, y la posibilidad emergente de una tercera, evidencian cambios significativos en las concepciones de justicia e igualdad ligadas al acceso a la vivienda y en las relaciones establecidas entre sujetos, agrupaciones y Estado subsidiario.

En los últimos tiempos hemos sido testigos de un interés creciente por los estudios sobre la infancia vulnerada dentro de las ciencias sociales. Las obras de Buenaventura Delgado y Philippe Ariès, entre otros, sirvieron a la generación siguiente de investigadores a tomar en cuenta una serie de precauciones fundamentales. La primera de ellas, tenía que ver con los significados y comprensiones dispares en torno a la infancia, atendiendo al contexto histórico y social específico. Por ello, para el Antiguo Régimen es fundamental acudir a las categorías propias que se utilizaron en su tiempo, como forma de evitar caer en anacronismos históricos. Por otro lado, otra de estas precauciones estuvo relacionada con el hecho mismo del abandono de menores, una realidad que operaba desde largo tiempo, pero a la que la sociedad tardomedieval le dio un tratamiento específico…

Most of the students studying entrepreneurship in Nigerian universities lack entrepreneurial capability- that is, they lack the freedom to pursue and achieve entrepreneurial opportunity. Freedom is seen here in terms of those conditions that must be in place for students to be able to carry out their entrepreneurship studies. These are conditions that support the well-being of the students and may be seen as having good shelter, being well nourished, being healthy, being able to do their normal studies among others. The paper examined why the presence of these conditions is likely to assist students to improve their creative thinking and strengthen their entrepreneurial capability. It explored Amartya Sen’s Capability Approach, focusing on freedom, opportunities, and functionings to explain the required favourable conditions that make learning worthwhile for students, and how it accounts for students’ ability to strengthen their entrepreneurial capability. The paper argued for the deployment of creative thinking to strengthen entrepreneurial capability among students of entrepreneurship in universities in Nigeria. It concluded by urging universities in Nigeria to adopt relevant curriculum in addition to providing students with a decent learning environment to enable them to develop creative thinking that could be used in entrepreneurship education.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LOS PACIENTES MAYORES DE 60 AÑOS INGRESADOS AL PROGRAMA DE HOSPITALIZACIÓN DOMICILIARIA DEL COMPLEJO ASISTENCIAL DR. SÓTERO DEL RÍO, SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Introducción Dado al incremento de población adulto mayor en Chile, han incrementado las tasas de hospitalizaciones. En la búsqueda por disminuir las complicaciones asociadas a esto, en el Complejo Asistencial Dr. Sótero del Río, se ha desarrollado la Unidad de Hospitalización Domiciliaria. Este trabajo tiene por objetivo describir las características de los pacientes mayores de 60 años ingresados en esta unidad durante el año 2014 Material y métodos Estudio descriptivo retrospectivo. Se recogieron , a partir de los informes estadísticos mensuales de la Unidad de Hospitalización domiciliaria, datos de filiación, motivos de ingreso y estadía hospitalaria. Se excluyeron ingresos obstétricas. Se clasificaron los ingresos según su clasificación CIE-10. Resultados Se ingresaron 2953 pacientes a la Unidad de Hospitalización domiciliaria durante el año 2014. 1617 pacientes corresponden a mayores de 60 años (52,8%) y de éstos, 571 eran pacientes de 80 años o más (35,3%). La mediana de edad fue de 63 años. Dentro de las causas más importantes se ubican: Enfermedades del Sistema Respiratorio n=680 (42%), Enfermedades del Sistema Circulatorio n=324 (20%), Enfermedades Genitourinarias n=313 (19,4%). Discusión La hospitalización domiciliaria podría ser un aporte al Sistema de Salud Público chileno, dado que presenta beneficios probados en la literatura internacional a nivel clínico, satisfacción usuaria, organizativo y a nivel de costo efectividad.
