In this paper, the hadronic decay B0 → J/ψf2(1270) has been analyzed using the “QCD factorization” method. The effective coefficients [Formula: see text] have been calculated for three helicity states (h = 0, +, –) which give three contributions of amplitude. We have assumed two scenarios for J/ψ. First, we have considered that J/ψ behaves as a light meson compared to the B meson and second, we have considered the mass of J/ψ in our calculations meaning that mJ/ψ/mb is held fixed. The branching ratios are calculated in these two scenarios and also in different energy scales (μ = mb, μ = mb/2, and μ = 2mb). The obtained results are in agreement with available experimental data for the second scenario and μ = 2mb.

Within the QCD factorization approach we compute the amplitudes for pure annihilation channels of B mesons decays into final states containing two pseudoscalar particles. These decays may be plagued by effects like nonperturbative physics and breaking of the factorization hypothesis and imply, at some extent, the introduction of an infrared cutoff in the calculation of amplitudes. We compute the decays with the help of infrared finite gluon propagators and coupling constants that were obtained in different solutions of the QCD Schwinger–Dyson equations. These solutions yield a natural cutoff for the amplitudes, and we argue that a systematic study of these B decays may provide a test for the QCD infrared behavior.

We present a systematic study of the B meson light-cone distribution amplitudes which are relevant for the QCD factorization approach for the exclusive B meson decays. We construct representations for the quark-antiquark distribution amplitudes in terms of independent dynamical degrees of freedom, which exactly satisfy the QCD equations of motion and constraints from heavy-quark symmetry.

In this paper, the hadronic decays B+→J/ψρ+ and B0→J/ψρ0 have been analyzed in "QCD factorization" method. The effective coefficients [Formula: see text] have been calculated for three helicity states (h = 0, +, -) which given three contributions of amplitude. We have assumed two scenarios for J/ψ. First, we have considered that J/ψ behaves as a light meson in comparison with B-meson and in other scenario, we have considered mass of J/ψ in our calculations. The branching ratios are calculated in these conditions and also in different energy scales. The obtained results are in agreement with available experimental data at second scenario and μ = mb/2.

According to the heavy-quark flavor symmetry, the B→π, K transition form-factors could be related to the corresponding ones of D-meson decays near the zero recoil point. With the recent precisely measured exclusive semileptonic decays D →πℓν and D→K ℓν, we perform a phenomenological study of B →π, K transition form-factors based on this symmetry. Using BK, BZ and Series Expansion parametrizations of the form-factor slope, we extrapolate B →π, K transition form-factors from [Formula: see text] to q2 = 0. It is found that, although being consistent with each other within error bars, the central values of our results for B →π, K form-factors at q2 = 0, [Formula: see text], are smaller than predictions of the QCD light-cone sum rules, but are in good agreements with the ones extracted from hadronic B-meson decays within the SCET framework. Moreover, smaller form-factors are also favored by the QCD factorization approach for hadronic B-meson decays.

We discuss the angular distribution analysis of B → J/ψ K* decays and a way to resolve discrete ambiguites in the determination of the unitary triangle ϕ1(=β). We study the status of factorization hypothesis in the color-suppressed B meson decays: B → J/ψ K(*) within the general factorization approach and QCD-factorization method.
