The oxidation behaviour of Ni8Al and Ni25Cr coatings produced by high velocity oxygen fuel spray (HVOF) which were deposited on Fe-based alloys (CB2) was investigated. We simulated the service environment of the steam generator unit, and put the samples in a thermostatic tube furnace at 650[Formula: see text] in air with 20 wt.% water vapor for 1000 hours of cyclic oxidation. The formation mechanism are explained using SEM, XRD, and EDX. There were no spallations and obvious cracks in both coatings. Ni25Cr coating generated a better protection oxides scale than that scale on Ni8Al. The behavior and mechanism of the oxide scale formation had an important influence in coatings and we have discussed these phenomenons in the study.

Purpose Multi-robots simultaneously coverage and tracking (SCAT) is the problem of simultaneously covering area and tracking targets, which is essential for many applications, such as delivery service, environment monitor, traffic surveillance, crime monitor, anti-terrorist mission and so on. The purpose of this paper is to improve the performance of detected target quantity, coverage rate and less deadweight loss by designing a self-organized method for multi-robots SCAT. Design/methodology/approach A self-organized reciprocal control method is proposed, coupling task assignment, tracking and covering, equipped with collision-avoiding ability naturally. First, SCAT problem is directly modeled as optimal reciprocal coverage velocity (ORCV) in velocity space. Second, the preferred velocity is generated by calculating the best velocity to the center of some robot detected targets. ORCV is given by adjusting the velocity relative to neighbor robots’ toward in optimal coverage velocity (OCV); it is proven that OCV is collision-free assembly. Third, some corresponding algorithms are designed for finding optimal velocity under two situations, such as no detected targets and empty ORCV. Findings The simulation results of two cases for security robots show that the proposed method has detected more targets with less deadweight loss and decision time and no collisions anytime. Originality/value In this paper, a self-organized reciprocal control method is proposed for multi-robots SCAT problem, which is modeled in velocity space directly, different to the traditional method modeling in configuration space. What is more, this method considers the reciprocal of robots that contributes to the better accomplishment of SCAT cooperatively.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is twofold: to investigate if the three service quality dimensions (service environment, interaction and outcome quality), proposed by Brady and Cronin (2001), influence the development of event loyalty, among runners of the “‘Alexander the Great’ International Marathon”, and to test if running loyalty moderates the relationship between event quality and event loyalty. Design/methodology/approach In all, 368 runners participated in the study and filled the Sport Event Quality Questionnaire (Theodorakis et al., 2015) and an adjusted version of the Leisure Involvement Questionnaire (Kyle et al., 2010). Findings The results indicated that only the service environment and outcome dimensions contributed significantly to the prediction of event loyalty, while, and in contrast to other sport services, interaction quality was not shown to be an important determinant for the development of event loyalty. Furthermore, running involvement was shown to play a moderating role in the relationship between event quality and event loyalty. Service quality is more important for the development of event loyalty among low- than high-involved runners. The theoretical and applied implications of these results are discussed. Research limitations/implications The study provided results on how high- and low-involved runners perceive event quality, and for which of these groups the event quality is an important antecedent for the development of event loyalty. Practical implications Investigating the moderating role of involvement on the relationship between service quality and loyalty has also applied value. While committed runners have been traditionally seen as a key target group for event marketing professionals, the majority of runners in city marathons today are more leisure oriented. The increase in the number of leisure runners is actually the reason for the rapid growth of city marathons in the last few years. Meeting the needs of these leisure runners and increasing their loyalty levels is therefore a key task for marathon marketers today. Originality/value This study contributes to the literature, as for the first time it explores the moderating role of involvement on the relationship between service quality and loyalty in the context of a sport event.

This paper reports full-scale tests on threaded connections used in drill strings. A concise background is given concerning the in-service environment and loading conditions on the connections. This details some of the reasons particular steels are used in preference to others. Crack growth data is given for ten full-scale axial and rotating bend tests. This is compared with predictions from a dedicated weight function fracture mechanics solution designed for threaded connections. Crack aspect ratio is considered with a view to development of an appropriate empirical model.

Educational administration management is the primary link in the teaching management of colleges and universities. Mobile edge computing can create a carrier-class service environment with high performance, low latency, and high bandwidth and accelerate the rapid download of various contents, services, and applications in the network, which greatly promotes the upgrade of the educational administration system. Using educational administration management system to manage educational administration can promote the teaching work of colleges and universities better. This paper aims to design and develop a set of educational management information systems, using mobile edge computing (MEC) technology to combine the IT service environment and cloud computing technology at the edge of the network to improve the computing and performance of the edge network. Storage capacity reduces network operation and service delivery delay, improves user service quality experience, and helps universities improve the efficiency of educational administration management. This paper first discusses the implementation mode and related technologies of educational administration management system, then discussing the demand analysis of each functional module of the system; in the nonfunctional demand analysis part, the system needs to meet the security and performance. According to the function modules included in the system, using the way of running interface screenshot, implementation code, and flowchart, the paper analyzes the realization process of the function module and also completes the function test of the function module, as well as the performance test of the whole system. The experimental results show that the rule 4 of teaching level evaluation data mining reveals that the support degree of excellent teaching effect is 18% and the confidence degree is 53% in the age of 50–60. Rule 5 shows that the degree of support is 16% and the degree of confidence is 52%. Rule 10 shows that the degree of support for excellent teaching effect is 22% and the confidence level is 71%. The high confidence level of backbone teachers aged 50–60 indicates that the old teachers are more experienced and popular with students, while the young teachers under 30 need to focus on training to help young teachers improve their professional level. From the above data, it can be seen that through the application of mobile edge technology the educational administration system is more efficient in processing and analyzing data in terms of teacher management and teaching level, which once again shows the impact of this network technology on the construction and development of educational administration systems highly feasible.
