A retrospective analysis of results of percutaneous nephrolithotripsy (PNLT) for corallike nephrolithiasis in lithotripter "Swiss LithoClast ® Master" and transurethral nephrolithotripsy (TUNLT). In the period 20072010 167 PNLT and 11 TUNLT were performed. Complete elimination at PNLL was achieved in 83.2% of patients, residual concretions – in 16,8% of cases, with complete elimination TUNLT – 36,4%, residual concretions – 63,6%. In 3% of patients needed for the complete elimination of the implementation of additional percutaneous accesses, while 12.6% of the patients was necessary to repeat PNLT. Complications from PNLT + DLT developed in 30,2% of cases, and when the TUNLT + DLT – in 18,2%. Percutaneous technology in comparison to open surgery with corallike nephrolithiasis can significantly shorten the postoperative rehabilitation period and be choice method of the treatment due to its high efficiency and less traumatic.

The retrospective analysis of results of urethral strictural disease surgical treatment cases (according to the materials of the urological department of the «Volgograd Regional Clinical Hospital № 1» for 2015–2020) was provided. The research included 168 surgical treatment cases of urethral strictures of different localization, longitude and etiology. The patients were operated using different surgical technics. Comparative analysis of results of surgical treatment in patients with urethral strictures was provided. The research evaluates the efficacy of used methods: internal optical urethrotomy, anastomotic plastics «edge to edge», buccal urethroplastics, urethral plastics without spongious body incisoin. It was found out that now-a-days the most prognostically favourable methods in urethral stictural disease surgical treatment are the buccal plastics and «edge to edge». Otherwise, due to few observed cases, the plastics without spongious body incision demands more detailed and thorough analysis for verifying it’s comparative efficacy.

Forty-four patients with recalcitrant heel spur syndrome who underwent surgical correction (54 procedures) were studied retrospectively. The results of minimal-incision, endoscopic, and open plantar fasciotomy procedures were compared. This study focuses on patient satisfaction, pain reduction, convalescence, and postoperative problems. Although all procedure groups reported high degrees of patient satisfaction and reduction of pain, some notable differences among the three groups were observed.
