A simple and convenient strategy has been developed to prepare electrically conductive nitrogen-doped carbon modified mesoporous structure supported NiFe alloy nanocatalysts. The resulting electrocatalyst exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance for both oxygen evolution reactions (OERs) and oxygen reduction reactions (ORRs).
