T-carbon is a theoretically predicted but also a recently experimentally synthesized carbon allotrope, which is a promising material for next-generation energy applications. Due to its unique and fantastic properties, T-carbon can be potentially used in thermoelectrics, hydrogen storage, lithium ion batteries, etc.
