The phenylalanine radical (Phe•) has been proposed to mediate biological electron transport (ET) and exhibit long-lived electronic coherences following attosecond photoionization. However, the coupling of ultrafast structural reorganization to the...
We demonstrate that sub-nanometer-thick layers exhibiting exotic crystal phases that might form at the interface between two materials constitute a source of novel vibrational dynamics of thin films and multilayers.
Abstract
Vibration dynamics of crystalline borophene is considered in the framework of the Born–von Karman model. The vibrations perpendicular to the plane of 2D borophen lattice (flexural modes) are studied.
