Permanent magnet synchronous motor mathematical models of synchronous rotating coordinate system are decoupled by rotor field orientation. Then, the speed regulator, current regulator and space vector control system are designed. The current inner ring and speed outer ring ensure the accurate tracking of current and the accurate control of speed. To reduce the control algorithm computation, SVPWM control strategy based on the 60o coordinate system is used on the permanent magnet synchronous motor control system. Simulation results show that the space vector control system has good dynamic characteristics and the control scheme is feasible.

In order to achieve closed-loop control,it is generally required to know the position and speed of the motor rotor through installed photoelectric encoder, rotary transformer and some other mechanical sensors on the rotor shaft . But these sensors increase the system cost and the interface circuits between the motor and the control system, and reduce the control accuracy and reliability of the system.This article designs a sensorless vector control system for permanent magnet synchronous motor, and introduces the hardware structure and the working principle of the system, and designs control circuit and vector control software based on IRMCF341 chip. The result of test shows that the system has a steady state performance and a high control precision. The motor runs well without the position sensor and at the same time achieves a much higher level of control performance.

As the incomparable advantages, permanent magnetic synchronous motor (PMSM) has been used widely in servo system, numerical control machine. The paper introduces an EKF (extended Kalman filter)-based sensorless vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor. The rotorfield-oriented control strategy based on id=0 is selected. After expounding the principle of EKF and recursion algorithm, it derives the Kalman state equation in PMSM rest coordinate, makes a discretization processing, and constructs vector control system based on EKF estimator. The simulation model of vector control system of PMSM with MATLAB/Simulink is built and on this basis, it observes the position and speed of the motor rotor by the use of the EKF estimator. Simulation results demonstrate the EKF estimator can accurate estimates of the PMSM rotor position and speed.
