Based on the assessment of the resource base of Far East region of Russia, the important role of the mining industry for most regions of Far East Federal District was noted. A decrease in the resource potential of geogenous placers has been established, therefore anthropogenic deposits of placer deposits become an important reserve of placer gold mining. Natural and technological factors that need to be taken into account when selecting and applying those technologies and mining equipment that can reduce their influence are as follows: permafrost rocks, high clayey sand deposits, large content of fine and fine fractions of gold, the presence of high content of heavy fractions of other valuable passing components, etc. A number of developed innovative technologies for development of alluvial deposits, as well as new technological equipment for use on dredges and drags, have been noted. The parameters of the technological processes of the jigging machine on the Alaska-35 washing device (USA) have been analyzed, the matrix of interacting factors (such as the shape of the particles of a mineral, particle size, particle density, height of the bed of the jigging machine, frequency of piston swings, stroke of piston, etc.), the purpose of the study is to obtain graph-analytical dependencies for calculating their rational parameters that ensure effective extraction of metals.

The gold mining industry of the Russian Far East has a great development potential, whose economic growth largely depends on the efficiency of developing a unique mineral resource base. To do this, it is necessary to solve a number of tasks, including the management and organization of economic activities of enterprises engaged in the extraction of placer gold in medium and small volumes. Gold mining companies themselves positively assess the prospects for the development of the industry, despite the preservation of external restrictions imposed by Western countries. At the same time, the current position of the modern gold mining industry is determined not only by the state of the Russian economy, but also by a number of branch features related to the management of gold mining at the enterprise level. At the present time, there are increasing questions about the feasibility of consolidation of small and medium mining enterprises, which will allow them to overcome current trends in the economic development of the industry, by combining their own resources. At the same time, in practice, reverse phenomena are observed, indicating that the industry is segmented and the number of mining companies developing placer deposits is gradually increasing. However, consolidation processes, in the form of integration associations, represent one of the directions of development and effective functioning of Russian gold mining enterprises, therefore they require comprehensive research and remain relevant.

The article analyzes global strategic trends in the development of the fishing industry, whose most important role in terms of the successful development of society is increasingly recognized. For a number of priorities and indicators, the leading countries in the production, export and import of fish and fish products are indicated. The strategic vector of development of the fishing industry in Russia as a whole and, in particular, the Russian Far East has been substantiated. The competitive advantage of the region is the best resource base among all regions of Russia. The main objects of the fishing industry of Russia, determining its competitiveness in the global market, are concentrated in the Kamchatka Territory, Sakhalin Region, Primorsky and Khabarovsk Territories. The level of development of the productive forces of the fishing industry of the Far Eastern Federal District predetermines the role of  Russia in the most important economic space of the world – the Asia-Pacific region, where, since 1992, leaders of the fishing industry have been localized. The problem of realizing the strategic potential of the fisheries complex in Russia is complicated by the lack of capacity of the fishing fleet, port infrastructure, refrigeration and storage facilities onshore, and coastal fish processing plants.
