The article considers the problem of optimal design of car body elements (longitudinal members) according to the chosen criteria. Both the questions of formulation of the optimization task and individual problems of its solution are studied. The mathematical statement of the problem is considered. Thus, the most attention is given to consideration of realisation of used numerical procedure of optimization. The system of numerical calculations is based on the most widely spread software systems for engineering analysis and design. The developed scripts on Python programming language are briefly considered. Results of optimization of longitudinal members of the car are given.

Pervasiveness of information systems is well underway, redefining our social and economic relationships. This technological revolution has generated enormous capabilities, but also enabled the creation of new vulnerabilities and threats. A major challenge in the field of information systems is therefore, to ensure the trustworthiness of the underlying technologies that make possible the generation, collection, storage, processing and transmission of user data at rates more intensive than ever before. Trust in information systems depends on different aspects, one of which is the security of user's data. Data security is referred as the protection of user's data from corruption and unauthorized access. Another important aspect of trust is the protection of user's privacy. Protecting privacy is about complying with user's desires when it comes to handling personal information. Without security to guarantee data protection, appropriate uses of that data cannot be realized. This implies that security and privacy issues are inherently intertwined and should be viewed synergistically. The aim of this paper is to elevate modern practices for ensuring security and privacy during software systems analysis and design. To this end, the basic security and privacy requirements that should be considered are introduced. Additionally, a number of well known methods in the research area of requirements engineering which focus on eliciting and modeling security and privacy requirements are described. Finally, a comparative analysis between these methods is presented.

In the past twenty years wind energy remerged on the world scene with a very healthy growth rate, it has outstripped photovoltaics as the world’s fastest growing energy source, with a growth rate in excess of 30 percent per annum. The proposed paper presents a numerical procedure for the analysis and design of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine rotors for fabrication in countries with limited manufacturing base and limited design expertise. To ascertain the accuracy and to determine where further improvements could be initiated; numerical findings were then compared with published experimental test data, the compression showed an average deviation of less than 3%. Once the approach was validated and standardized an airfoil design was produced. A computational fluid dynamic code coupled with a simple numerical algorithm aided the inverse design procedure. The final design is well proportioned and theoretically able to meet the stated objective and satisfied the constraints. The generated geometrical data is in a form suitable for manufacture using local manufacturing capabilities, the primary objective of this work.

Cross sectional areas optimization is to be implemented to study the influence of the cross section shape on the optimum truss weight. By the aid of analysis and design engines with advanced finite element analysis that is the steel design software STAAD. Four rolled steel sections (angle, tube, channel, and pipe) which are used in industrial roof trusses are applied for comparison. Many previous studies, use the areas of cross sections as design variables without highlight to the shape of cross section at the start of the process, consequently the result area will be adequate if the designer choose the effective shape than others. Results of this research show that the chosen cross section shape has a significant impact on the optimum truss weight for same geometry of truss type under the same circumstances of loading and supports.
