To control the intensity of the light flux when fishing saury it is necessary to widely change the voltage of the lighting fishing equipment. It is reasonable to carry out this by controlling additionally installed thyristor regulators supplying individual symmetric three-phase groups of light sources that will ensure balanced loading of the synchronous generator stator windings. In this research the features of using a thyristor voltage regulator in a four-wire system of ship power supply are studied based on mathematical analysis, conclusions are made using computer modeling and the use of current limiting reactors is justified.

Reliable supply of consumers with electric energy largely depends on the reliability of power source function-ing. In the context of this paper it depends on synchronous generators operating in autonomous power supply sys-tems. In contrast to the power plant generators which are part of power systems and are protected from the loads by sufficiently large resistances, power supply systems withautonomous generators are characterized by rather low resistances. Abrupt changes in the supply load parameters, their own transient and emergency modes, for example, short circuits at the generator terminals, forcing excitation, etc. may lead to various failures in the synchronous gener-ator operation. This paper discusses the possibility of over-voltage in the valve excitation system of a synchronous generator with external three-phase short circuits. On the basis of analytical expressions describing the physical pro-cesses occurring in the excitation system of synchronous generators, the conditions for the occurrence of overvolt-ages are identified

Abstract The paper presents a comparison of higher harmonics in induced phase voltages of a stator winding in the no-load state of a three-phase 5.5 kVA salient pole synchronous generator. The comparison is carried out for the synchronous generator with different salient pole rotor constructions: a non-skewed solid rotor, a non-skewed solid rotor with radial incisions, and a laminated electrotechnical steel rotor with skewed slots and damping bars. The calculations of higher harmonics are based on the magnetic field distributions in the air gap, which are carried out in a 2D model in a FEMM program and on the induced voltage waveforms in the stator windings registered during experimental investigations of the 5.5 kVA salient pole synchronous generator in the no-load state.

This paper introduces a novel design of three-phase AC-voltage regulation trigger circuitry using silicon controlled rectifier (SCR), and presents its application in an energy-saving design of oil extractor control system. The design employs photoelectric isolation technique and the inter-phase of three-phase power supply itself, only three groups of triggering signals are required to control the six thyristors conducting angles. The generation of high-precision triggering signals and PID control regulator functions are realized by programming the multiple high-performance timers and the AD interface of a STM32 microprocessor. Experiments and in-field tests have shown the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
