AbstractThe laser Raman spectrum of matrix-isolated As4-tetrahodra is reported. The frequencies are different to former data obtained by gas-phase measurements.

A high-accuracy determination of the fine structures in the Raman spectrum of superfluid 4He at 1.3 K under saturated vapor pressure has been done with a multichannel monochromator. The experimental Raman structure cannot be explained by conventional theories. Comments on our recent studies of the pressure dependence of the Raman structure are given.
