A Simple and Efficient Synthesis of fused Benzo[b]thiophene Derivatives

A new approach to the synthesis of fused benzothiophene derivatives was developed based on iodine-promoted photo-cyclization of 4,5-diarylsubstituted thiophenes obtained in three steps from commercially available compounds. Comparative analysis showed that photochemical cyclization is a more efficient method for the preparation of fused benzo[b]thiophene derivatives, compared to oxidative coupling 4,5-diarylsubstituted thiophenes in the presence of iron (III) chloride and palladium catalyzed intramolecular arylation. This approach provides an efficient synthesis of functionally substituted naphtho[2,1-b: 3,4-b ']dithiophenes, phenanthro[9,10-b] thiophenes, benzo[1,2-b: 3,4-b': 6 , 5-b '']trithiophenes, as well as new fused heterocycles containing a pyridine ring and / or a carbazole moiety

An efficient method was developed for the synthesis of pyrazole fused heterocycles via the palladium-catalyzed solvent free reaction of β-halovinyl/aryl aldehydes and 3-aminopyrazoles/5-aminopyrazoles under microwave irradiation in good yields.

Herein, we report an efficient method for the synthesis of the pyrido[3,2-c]coumarin scaffold, one of the privileged heterocycle-fused coumarin scaffolds, via a AgNO3-catalyzed cycloisomerization of 4-(propynylamino)coumarins obtained from diverse 4-hydroxycoumarins. This concise method affords pyrido[3,2-c]coumarin analogues bearing diverse substituents on the benzene or pyridine ring in moderate to good yields. Moreover, this methodology was extended to the facile synthesis of polyneomarline C, a natural pyrido[3,2-c]coumarin derivative isolated from the Chinese herbal medicine Polyalthia nemoralis A. DC., in three steps and in 26% overall yield from the known 4-hydroxycoumarin.

В статье рассматривается вопрос совершенствования системы управления параллельно-работающими насосными агрегатами с целью повышения энергоэффективности их работы. Проведено сравнение и выявление недостатков существующих методов решения рассматриваемой проблемы. Предложена идея нового подхода на базе онлайн оптимизации. The problem under consideration is improvement of the energy efficiency of a control system of parallel-running pump units. Known methods used to solve this problem are considered. Their advantages and disadvantages are shown. Finally, the idea of a new approach, which is based on online optimization, is proposed.

A facile and efficient method for the synthesis ofP1,P3-dizidovudine-5′,5′-triphosphate has been developed. The coupling of zidovudine diphosphate with zidovudine phosphoropiperidate based on the DCI activation of P-N bond afforded the desired product in good yield.
