A wireless ad hoc network is a decentralized kind of wireless network. It is a kind of temporary Computer-to-Computer connection. It is a spontaneous network which includes mobile ad-hoc network (MANET), vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) and Flying ad-hoc network (FANET). Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) is a temporary network that can be dynamically formed to exchange information by wireless nodes or routers which may be mobile. A VANET is a sub form of MANET. It is an technology that uses vehicles as nodes in a network to make a mobile network. FANET is an ad-hoc network of flying nodes. They can fly independently or can be operated distantly. In this research paper Fuzzy based control approaches in wireless network detects & avoids congestion by developing the ad-hoc fuzzy rules as well as membership functions. In this concept, two parameters have been used as: a) Channel load b) The size of queue within intermediate nodes. These parameters constitute the input to Fuzzy logic controller. The output of Fuzzy logic control (sending rate) derives from the conjunction with Fuzzy Rules Base. The parameter used input channel load, queue length which are produce the sending rate output in fuzzy logic. This fuzzy value has been used to compare the MANET, FANET and VANET in terms of the parameters Throughput, packet loss ratio, end to end delay. The simulation results reveal that usage of Qual Net 6.1 simulator has reduced packet-loss in MANET with comparing of VANET and FANET.

Abstract In the data collection phase, the digital images are captured using sensors that often contaminated by noise (undesired random signal). In digital image processing task, enhancing the image quality and reducing the noise is a central process. Image denoising effectively preserves the image edges to a higher extend in the flat regions. Several adaptive filters (median filter, Gaussian filter, fuzzy filter, etc.) have been utilized to improve the smoothness of digital image, but these filters failed to preserve the image edges while removing noise. In this paper, a modified fuzzy set filter has been proposed to eliminate noise for restoring the digital image. Usually in fuzzy set filter, sixteen fuzzy rules are generated to find the noisy pixels in the digital image. In modified fuzzy set filter, a set of twenty-four fuzzy rules are generated with additional four pixel locations for determining the noisy pixels in the digital image. The additional eight fuzzy rules ease the process of finding the image pixels, whether it required averaging or not. In this scenario, the input digital images were collected from the underwater photography fish dataset. The efficiency of the modified fuzzy set filter was evaluated by varying degrees of Gaussian noise (0.01, 0.03, and 0.1 levels of Gaussian noise). For performance evaluation, Structural Similarity (SSIM), Mean Structural Similarity (MSSIM), Mean Square Error (MSE), Normalized Mean Square Error (NMSE), Universal Image Quality Index (UIQI), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), and Visual Information Fidelity (VIF) were used. The experimental results showed that the modified fuzzy set filter improved PSNR value up to 2-3 dB, MSSIM up to 0.12-0.03, and NMSE value up to 0.38-0.1 compared to the traditional filtering techniques.

In this research, we introduce a classification procedure based on rule induction and fuzzy reasoning. The classifier generalizes attribute information to handle uncertainty, which often occurs in real data. To induce fuzzy rules, we define the corresponding fuzzy information system. A transformation of the derived rules into interval type-2 fuzzy rules is provided as well. The fuzzification applied is optimized with respect to the footprint of uncertainty of the corresponding type-2 fuzzy sets. The classification process is related to a Mamdani type fuzzy inference. The method proposed was evaluated by the F-score measure on benchmark data.
