In the paper we prove in a new and simple way that Interactionmachines are more powerful than Turing machines. To do thatwe extend the definition of Interaction machines to multiple interactivecomponents, where each component may perform simple computation. The emerging expressiveness is due to the power of interaction and allowsto accept languages not accepted by Turing machines. The mainresult that Interaction machines can accept arbitrary languages over agiven alphabet sheds a new light to the power of interaction. Despite ofthat we do not claim that Interaction machines are complete. We claimthat a complete theory of computer science cannot exist and especially,Turing machines or Interaction machines cannot be a complete model ofcomputation. However complete models of computation may and shouldbe approximated indefinitely and our contribution presents one of suchattempts.

A metamorphosis or a morphing is the process of continuously transforming one object into another, and are popular in computer animation, industrial design, and growth simulation. In this paper, a novel approach is presented for computing continuous shape transformation between polyhedral objects in this paper. Metamorphosis can be achieved by decomposing two objects into sets of individual convex sub-objects respectively and constructing the mapping between two sets, this method can solve the metamorphosis problem of two non-homotopic objects (including concave objects and holey objects). The results of object metamorphosis are discussed in this paper. The experiments show that this method can generate natural, high quality metamorphosis results with simple computation. This method can also be used in font composition and interpolation between two keyframes in 2D and 3D computer animation automatically.

We propose a measure of nonclassical correlation [Formula: see text] in terms of local Gaussian unitary operations based on square of the fidelity [Formula: see text] for bipartite continuous-variable systems. This quantity is easier to be calculated or estimated and is a remedy for the local ancilla problem associated with the geometric measurement-induced nonlocality. A simple computation formula of [Formula: see text] for any [Formula: see text]-mode Gaussian states is presented and an estimation of [Formula: see text] for any [Formula: see text]-mode Gaussian states is given. For any [Formula: see text]-mode Gaussian states, [Formula: see text] does not increase after performing a local Gaussian channel on the unmeasured subsystem. Comparing [Formula: see text] in scale with other quantum correlations such as Gaussian geometric discord for two-mode symmetric squeezed thermal states reveals that [Formula: see text] is much better in detecting quantum correlations of Gaussian states.

Hearing sensitivity is most commonly still reported in terms of pure tone thresholds. Unfortunately, simple procedures for predicting Speech Recognition Thresholds from Pure Tone Thresholds are not currently available. To remedy this problem, pure tone thresholds were collected from 802 individuals over the range of 250 to 8000 Hz. Five subsets of pure tone thresholds which are commonly used to report hearing status were then considered. An average correlation of 0.878 was found between the various pure tone indexes and the speech recognition threshold. Using regressions between pure tone and the speech measure, a table was constructed that allows conversion of the various pure tone indexes to a predicted speech recognition threshold and involves only a very simple computation.

The hydraulic efficiency conversion method of Moody formula based on H. Blasius friction coefficient formula for the “Hydraulically smooth zone” was analyzed. The method of model to prototype that involves the influence of the surface roughness of hydraulic machinery was advised. The conversion result was compared among the Haaland fomula, the Swamee-Jain formula, and the different proportion of hydraulic loss type. It was contrasted with the standard method. The difference of prototype efficiency is no bigger than 0.0025 in the prototype roughness 0.025mm range. The proposed computational method is provided with the same characteristics with the flowing zone, and possessed the clear physics significance, the simple computation process and the high conversion precision. It is satisfied with the efficiency conversion under the influence of the surface roughness.
