Aiming at the defects of traditional full-text retrieval models in dealing with mathematical expressions, which are special objects different from ordinary texts, a multimodal retrieval and ranking method for scientific documents based on hesitant fuzzy sets (HFS) and XLNet is proposed. This method integrates multimodal information, such as mathematical expression images and context text, as keywords to realize the retrieval of scientific documents. In the image modal, the images of mathematical expressions are recognized, and the hesitancy fuzzy set theory is introduced to calculate the hesitancy fuzzy similarity between mathematical query expressions and the mathematical expressions in candidate scientific documents. Meanwhile, in the text mode, XLNet is used to generate word vectors of the mathematical expression context to obtain the similarity between the query text and the mathematical expression context of the candidate scientific documents. Finally, the multimodal evaluation is integrated, and the hesitation fuzzy set is constructed at the document level to obtain the final scores of the scientific documents and corresponding ranked output. The experimental results show that the recall and precision of this method are 0.774 and 0.663 on the NTCIR dataset, respectively, and the average normalized discounted cumulative gain (NDCG) value of the top-10 ranking results is 0.880 on the Chinese scientific document (CSD) dataset.

In this paper, structural, optical and electronic properties of ZnO nanoparticles were investigated with the variation in the annealing temperature. X-ray diffraction, High-Resolution Transmission Electron Spectroscopy, Absorption spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy and Soft X-ray spectroscopy techniques were invoked to investigate and gauge the effect of annealing temperature on these properties. Intact Hexagonal Wurtzite phase of the nanoparticles with increasing crystallinity and spherical shape with particle size between 20[Formula: see text]nm and 23[Formula: see text]nm [using both X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) and High-resolution Transmission of electron microscopy (HRTEM)], blue shift of absorption peak from 372[Formula: see text]nm to 366[Formula: see text]nm and Optical Band Gap from 3.24[Formula: see text]eV to 3.17[Formula: see text]eV (UV-Vis-NIR), narrowing of [Formula: see text] mode in Raman Spectra; all indicated enhanced crystallinity with increased annealing temperature. Effects produced by the sole variable such as annealing temperature on the indicative parameters in a definite order catapult the annealing conditions as a significant candidate for customized properties. To have a deeper insight at the electronic levels, Synchrotron-based X-ray absorption spectroscopic studies of ZnO nanoparticles were undertaken. The analysis of Soft XAS spectra showed the change in number of O 2[Formula: see text] and Zn 4[Formula: see text] unoccupied states with increasing particle size and crystallinity of ZnO nanoparticles for varying annealing temperature.

—A meme is a culturally relevant, and brief form of media that raise a content over the internet. Now a days posting a meme is popular communication medium, due to its multimodal nature. Postings of hateful memes or fooling, cyberbullying are growing gradually. Meme takes a major part in forming people’s trust and perspective. Meme can be quickly post by anybody, and its integrity stands compromised. Hateful and aggressive matter detection have been largely traversed in a form such as text or image. And Memes complicate the task, because some meme can have a good caption and normal pictures, but if combined in some way, they can become offensive. So, it is required to fuse both modality to identify whether a given meme is hateful or not. So here for text classification we found the sequential model like Bi-LSTM and for image we will go with CNN. Late fusion technique is used to combine the image and text mode with EX-OR method to investigate its effectiveness.

In this paper, we present an exhaustive description of an extensible e-Health Internet-connected embedded system, which allows the measurement of three biometric parameters: pulse rate, oxygen saturation and temperature, via several wired and wireless sensors residing to the realm of Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) and cognitive assessment through Choice Reaction Time (CRT) analysis. The hardware used is based on ATMEGA AVR + MySignals Hardware printed circuit board (Hardware PCB), but with multiple upgrades (including porting from ATMEGA328P to ATMEGA2560). Multiple software improvements were made (by writing high-level device drivers, text-mode and graphic-mode display driver) for increasing functionality, portability, speed, and latency. A top-level embedded application was developed and benchmarked. A custom wireless AT command firmware was developed, based on ESP8266 firmware to allow AP-mode configuration and single-command JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) data-packet pushing towards the cloud platform. All software is available in a git repository, including the measurement results. The proposed eHealth system provides with specific NCDs and cognitive views fostering the potential to exploit correlations between physiological and cognitive data and to generate predictive analysis in the field of eldercare.

Structural and dielectric properties of Ce-doped BaTi[Formula: see text]Y[Formula: see text]O3 powders, with the chemical formulation (Ba[Formula: see text]Ce[Formula: see text](Ti([Formula: see text]- Y[Formula: see text]O3 such as [Formula: see text] = 0%, 1%, 3%, 5%, 7% and 9%, produced by the sol–gel method, have been investigated. X-ray diffraction analysis showed that Ce[Formula: see text] ions incorporated Ba sites until [Formula: see text]= 7% indicating that this concentration represents a solubility limit of Ce[Formula: see text] ions in BaTi[Formula: see text]Y[Formula: see text]O3 matrix. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis showed a decrease in grain size down to the same concentration of 7%. Raman spectroscopy analysis showed the appearance of A[Formula: see text] mode, which we attributed to the effect of incorporation of Ce[Formula: see text] and Y[Formula: see text] in BaTiO3 matrix. Dielectric measurements revealed that doping with cerium lowers the temperature of permittivity maximum at the ferroelectric-to-paraelectric transition (FPT) of the BaTi[Formula: see text]Y[Formula: see text]O3 sample, and reaches a value that should be below 40[Formula: see text]C for [Formula: see text]= 9%. Moreover, the phenomenon of dielectric resonance was observed on all Ce-doped samples, which was not the case with other dopants as reported in the literature.

Abstract Conditional clauses in Dutch can occur in sentence-initial and sentence-final position. For sentence-initial conditionals, a number of syntactic integration patterns are available. This corpus study investigates to what extent clause order and syntactic integration are associated with text mode (spoken, written) and register (formal, informal). Sentence-initial position of the conditional clause is shown to be most frequent in both modes and registers, although sentence-final position is more frequent than one would expect based on the literature, especially in written texts. The distribution of syntactic integration patterns shows a clear difference between modes, as full integration of the conditional clause into the main clause is most frequent in written texts, whereas the use of the resumptive element dan (‘then’) is most frequent in spoken texts.

This study presents a technique requiring relatively simple supporting devices and protection accessories for treating conditions like mycosis fungoides in which a uniform radiation dose to the whole body can be achieved by using the regular largest electron cone instead of HDRe[Formula: see text] mode in one treatment course. The regular cone total skin electron therapy technique presented in this study is able to deliver a uniform radiation dose to the patient’s skin surface. The result is satisfying when compared with the High Dose Rate e[Formula: see text] (HDRe[Formula: see text]) Stanford Six Field Technique.

Certain significant fallacies are involved in discussions of the high-[Formula: see text] mechanism unsolved for over 30 years in cuprate superconductors. These fallacies are explored with the aim of unraveling this mechanism. Moreover, using polarized electronic Raman scattering in inhomogeneous underdoped cuprate superconductors, the intrinsic nonlinear Raman spectrum is obtained by subtracting the pseudogap characteristic of a nonlinear from the linear Raman spectrum measured in the [Formula: see text] mode of the node area below the critical temperature. The intrinsic nonlinear behavior implies the existence of the nodal superconducting gap denying [Formula: see text]-wave pairing symmetry. An origin of the nodal superconducting gap is discussed.

Based on the Stueckelberg–Horwitz–Piron theory of covariant quantum mechanics on curved spacetime, we solved the wave equations for a charged covariant harmonic oscillator in the background of a charged static spherically symmetric black hole. Using Green’s functions, we found an asymptotic form for the wave function in the lowest mode ([Formula: see text]-mode) and in higher moments. It has been proven that for [Formula: see text]-wave, in a definite range of solid angles, the differential cross-section depends effectively to on the magnetic and electric charges of the black hole.
