This paper wants to examine the relationship of service quality, perceived value, satisfaction and loyalty with religious tourists who visit the island of Madura in 2015. The structural equation modeling results support the hypothesis that service quality affects directly the satisfaction and loyalty, and satisfaction directly affects loyalty, but the results do not support the hypothesis that the perceived value directly affects the satisfaction and perceived value directly affects loyalty. Quality of service only has direct and indirect influence on loyalty through satisfaction. So the stage of tourism development in Madura, quality of service is very important in building loyalty and satisfaction tourists

Client loyalty is one of the biggest challenges for the airline industry and marketers are seeking information on how to build client loyalty. This study will explore the relationship between service quality, client satisfaction, perceived value and client loyalty in the airline industry. The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a method for airline to identify attributes that will increase client loyalty. 384 respondents participate in this study and questionnaires were distributed randomly to passengers traveling by Emirates. In particularly a deductive approach adapted to collect specific quantitative information to accept or reject the hypothesis. Current study applies Structural Equation Modeling SEM-PLS to investigate the relationship among the constructs in proposed model. This study found that service quality has appositive relationship on passengers’ satisfaction and client loyalty and negative relationship on perceived value and client loyalty. The results of this study indicated that service quality and passenger's satisfaction are important factors effect of client loyalty. In conclusion Emirates must be able to understand the importance of service quality and passenger's satisfaction to fulfill the client loyalty and improve the service quality that make most significant in airline industry.

PurposeThe study aimed to examine the antecedents to self-service technology (SST) adoption behavior and the relationships between the constructs using empirical research.Design/methodology/approachBased on synthesis of the extant literature, a model was hypothesized, hypotheses were framed. Field data collected were analyzed using structural equation modeling.FindingsFew interesting findings were noted in this research. First, SST service quality had a direct positive linkage with perceived value, but no linkage with e-satisfaction. Second, strong positive linkage existed between perceived value and e-satisfaction. Therefore, the connection between SST service quality and satisfaction was completely mediated by perceived value. Third, no relationship existed between perceived value and behavioral intentions, but a direct positive relationship existed between e-satisfaction and behavioral intentions. Thus, the relationship of perceived value with behavioral intentions was fully mediated by e-satisfaction. Fourth, no direct connection was found between SST service quality and behavioral intentions. Rather, the connection was fully mediated by perceived value and e-satisfaction. Fifth, direct positive association was found between behavioral intentions and actual adoption of SST.Research limitations/implicationsThis empirical research was conducted primarily on the young population.Practical implicationsThe study will benefit managers in making better decisions on how to make SST work successfully for their organizations.Originality/valueFirst, this research further refined the SST adoption process of a customer, thus making a meaningful contribution to the literature on SST. Second, the research validated SSTQUAL scale in a different geographical setting.

PurposeThis research develops and tests a comprehensive hierarchical model of the behavioural intentions of day spa customers.Design/methodology/approachThe primary data was collected from the customers of 17 day spas throughout Thailand. EFA and SEM were used to analyse the data and test the interrelationships among service quality, customer satisfaction, perceived value, perceived switching costs and behavioural intentions. A third-order conceptualisation of service quality is also included in the modelling framework.FindingsCustomer satisfaction is the key determinant of behavioural intentions. Service quality and perceived value are two important descriptors of customer satisfaction. Service quality is the most important determinant of customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction is the most significant antecedent of behavioural intentions. Service quality is a significant determinant of perceived value and perceived switching costs. Customer satisfaction plays a partial mediating role on the relationship between service quality and behavioural intentions and between perceived value and behavioural intentions.Originality/valueThere is a conceptual gap in the literature as no published empirical research on the day spa industry has comprehensively modelled the behavioural intentions of day spa customers. The comprehensive hierarchical modelling approach used in this study provides a complete and integrative analysis of the constructs under investigation in a day spa context and closes the research gap.

Since the liberalization of the airline industry, the low-cost business model has been developed worldwide and a new business model of long-haul low-cost carriers (LHLCCs) has evolved. This chapter aims to investigate the LHLCC business model from a customer-oriented perspective in terms of service quality and perceived value. For this purpose, the authors investigated the effect of service quality on perceived value for money for LHLCCs. In this chapter, user-generated content was adopted to collect data, and 824 user-generated airline reviews were collected from TripAdvisor.com, the largest tourism-related repository. In order to investigate the relationship, a predictive correlational design was structured and a logistic regression analysis was applied. To contribute to the regression analysis, a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was performed to measure the classification success. As a result, the logit model describes well the relationship between variables for LHLCCs.

Abstract Background: This study seeks to explore the relationship of service quality, brand image, perceived value, service satisfaction and loyalty in China’s private dental clinics. Methods: This is a cross-sectional survey study, being conducted in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China in January 2019. The participants were selected by convenience sampling method. A total of 230 residents were surveyed. Among them, 125 had received services in private dental clinics, being the valid sample of this study. A multiple regression model was run to explore factors influencing patient loyalty. Subsequently, the path analysis was used to understand the relationship of service quality, brand image, perceived value, patient satisfaction, and patient loyalty. Results: After controlling for the effect of demographic and socio-economic variables, perceived value and patient satisfaction have significant influences on patient loyalty. The path analysis indicates the perceived value, perceived quality, and expected quality have direct effects on patient satisfaction, and have indirect effects on patient loyalty, with patient satisfaction as a mediator. Additionally, perceived value has a direct and indirect effect on patient satisfaction. Conclusion: This study helps managers in private dental clinics to gain support from customers through building customer loyalty towards dental clinics.
