Abstract The simple digital filters are not sufficient for digital modeling of systems with distributed parameters. It is necessary to apply more complex digital filters. In this work, a set of filters, called the digital function filters, is proposed. It consists of digital filters, which are obtained from causal and stable filters through some function transformation. In this paper, for several basic functions: exponential, logarithm, square root and the real power of input filter, the recursive algorithms of the digital function filters have been determined The digital function filters of exponential type can be obtained from direct recursive formulas. Whereas, the other function filters, such as the logarithm, the square root and the real power, require using the implicit recursive formulas. Some applications of the digital function filters for the analysis and synthesis of systems with lumped and distributed parameters (a long line, phase shifters, infinite ladder circuits) are given as well.

This paper focuses on application of the three-dimensional digital modeling, numerical analysis and optimization, digital control and other key technologies which provide technical support for the design and development in CNC floor boring and milling machine manufactruing. The three-dimensional digital modeling, digital assembly, interference checking help to eliminate some hidden trouble before processing and assembly. Numerical simulation reduces the cost and shortens the cycle of designand manufactruing in the optimal design of the machine. This technique has been successfully applied to a CNC Floor Boring and Milling Machine Model, which has been running for three years and achieved satisfactary economic result.

Data acquisition and model reconstruction of free-form surfaces with holes were been studied, based on coordinate measuring machines. First, the structural process of the parts was analyzed, the method of combinate contact measurement with non-contact measurement were used to get point cloud; Then the point cloud were been preprocessed, feature curve extracted and solid modeled; Finally, the restructure model was been quality assessed and accuracy assessed. Using the measurement of combinated contact and non-contact can also meet both the precision requirement of key part and the fast reconstruction requirement of non-critical part, which has great significance on that part to fast and accurate reconstruction.

Between the end of the twenties and the beginning of the World war two Turin, as the most of the Italian cities, was endowed by the fascist regime of many new buildings to guarantee its visibility and to control the territory: the fascist party main houses and the local ones. <br><br> The style that was adopted for these constructions was inspired by the guide lines of the Modern movement which were spreading by a generation of architects as Le Corbusier, Gropius, Mendelsohn. <br><br> At the end of the war many buildings were reconverted to several functions that led heavy transformations not respectful of the original worth, other were demolished. <br><br> Today it's possible to rebuild those lost architectures in their primal format as it was created by their architects on paper (and in their mind). This process can guarantee the three-dimensional perception, the authenticity of the materials and the placement into the Turin urban tissue, using static and dynamic digital representation systems. The “three-dimensional re-drawing” of the projects, thought as an heuristic practice devoted to reveal the original idea of the project, inserts itself in a digital model of the urban and natural context as we can live it today, to simulate the perceptive effects that the building could stir up today. The modeling skills are the basis to product videos able to explore the relationship between the environment and “re-built architectures”, describing with the synthetic movie techniques, the main formal and perceptive roots. The model represents a scientific product that can be involved in a virtual archive of cultural goods to preserve the collective memory of the architectural and urban past image of Turin.

This paper presents the theoretical basis for the development of the Earth's surface relief digital models. The sources and structure of the modeling data, as well as the methods of their processing, are described, depending on the spatial-temporal properties of the Earth's surface. Digital relief models have great significance and wide application in modern geodetic works. Representation of the spatial structure of the relief can be done with different methods of interpolation. In this paper their mathematical foundations are also given. General indicators of the quality of digital relief models are briefly described.
