Introduction
The research collaboration that led to the production of this book was supported by the TY Danjuma Fund for Law and Policy Development at the University of Cape Town. The primary collaboration between the Centre for Comparative Law in Africa (CCLA) at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (NIALS) was established in 2014 as the CCLA–NIALS partnership—a fundamental term of the TY Danjuma endowment at UCT.
