The actuality of the subject is due to the interest shown in knowing the historical evolution of the normative regulations of international legal assistance in criminal matters. The mutual provision by states of international legal assistance in criminal matters occupies an important place in international cooperation in the fight against crime. The provision of mutual assistance can be fruitful only on condition that the multilateral record of the normative acts in force, which are contained in national law and international treaties
