The computer programANIZChas been developed using the Pascal programming language for the calculation of diffraction contrast factors of dislocations in elastically anisotropic cubic, hexagonal and trigonal crystals. The contrast factor is obtained numerically by integrating the angular part of the distortion tensor in the slip plane. The distortion tensor is calculated by solving the sextic equation provided by the mechanical equilibrium of a single dislocation in an infinite anisotropic medium. The contrast factors can be used for the interpretation of strain anisotropy as obtained from peak profile measurements made on either single crystals, textured polycrystals or powders.

The purpose of the work is to consider methods for calculating the forecast of groundwater backwater in the zone of influence of hydraulic structures. The analysis of analytical dependences of calculation of the forecast of groundwater backwater for various calculation schemes is carried out. For a homogeneous scheme of the geofiltration structure, a numerical model is proposed and a computational program for calculating the groundwater backwater is developed. It allows calculating the groundwater backwater from the channel at any time in the discrete mode. To simplify the solution of the problem of calculating the groundwater backwater, a computer program was created in the programming language Phyton Version 8.3 which quickly solves this hydrogeological problem. A possible range of geofiltration parameters is proposed for calculating the groundwater backwater near main channels. The adaptation and implementation of the software model was carried out for a specific object – the Bolshoy Stavropol channel-5, for which forecast calculations were made. The results of predictive calculations of groundwater backwater are the basis for the assessment of areas of possible flooding – the territory within which the level of ground water increases as a result of their backup by a hydraulic structure.

Nanoindentation measurements in single crystals of carbamazepine form III show that the (020) face is stiffer and harder than the (002) and (101) faces. AFM imaging and molecular simulations reveal that the (020) plane is the most likely slip plane.

A computer program for following the trajectories of high energy ions in an fcc-lattice has been written to evaluate the reflection rate of high energy ions with grazing incidence to (001)- and (111̅)-Au-surfaces. The calculation yields a rapid decrease of the reflection rate for penetration directions close to low-index atomic planes. It can be shown that this result is caused by channeling of the ions between the atomic planes.

ABSTRACTThe effect of the pressure 550MPa on the choice of the acting slip plane in the single crystals of Fe−2,9%Si was studied. It was established that the presence of pressure resulted in the increase of the slip asymmetry. The effect of pressure is attributed to the action of normal stresses and to the special structure of screw dislocations.
