In china, increasing large-scale wind power integration has brought much more peak load regulation demand, which is the bottleneck of the integration of wind power to systems. This paper analyzed the influence mechanism of large-scale wind power on peak load regulation demand. And critical indicators are constructed based on the daily peak-valley difference to evaluate peak load regulation demand caused by wind power integration. Statistical analyses based on large number of actual dates reflect the influence of large-scale wind power integration on peak load regulation demand, which can help provide more decision-making information for planning and operation.

In a real-time strategy (RTS) game, StarCraft II, players need to know the consequences before making a decision in combat. We propose a combat outcome predictor which utilizes terrain information as well as squad information. For training the model, we generated a StarCraft II combat dataset by simulating diverse and large-scale combat situations. The overall accuracy of our model was 89.7%. Our predictor can be integrated into the artificial intelligence agent for RTS games as a short-term decision-making module.

As a kind of renewable clean energy, the constant access of wind power to power grids is bound to have a great impact on the power system. Based on the grid structure in Fuxin, this paper will state the difficulty of peak regulation and the matter of wasting wind power caused by the large-scale wind power integration and put forward some reasonable methods for using the wasting wind power in the heating in winter. The relevant results indicate that capacity of local consumption of wasting wind power can be improved. Under the circumstances, it can be conductive to solve the problem of wasting wind power results from the difficulty of peak regulation as well as inspire the power system planners.

The classification and application range of energy storage technology are briefly introduced. Challenges for large-scale wind power integration are summarized. With regard to the problems in system stability, low voltage ride-through ability of wind the turbine generator, and power quality, the paper elaborated some solutions based on energy storage technology, and analyzed their advantages and disadvantages. With the character of energy storage technology combined, the paper put forward some advice of energy storage technology applying in wind power integration.

Wind power generation is uncertain and intermittent accentuating variability. Currently in many power systems worldwide, the total generation-load unbalance caused by mismatch between forecast and actual wind power output is handled by automatic governor control and real-time 5-minute balancing markets, which are operated by the independent system operators for maintaining reliable operation of power systems. Mechanisms such as automatic governor control and real-time 5-minute balancing markets are in place to correct the mismatch between the load forecast and the actual load. They are not designed to address increased uncertainty and variability introduced by large-scale wind power or solar power generation expected in the future. Thus, large-scale wind power generation with increased uncertainty and intermittency causing variability poses a techno-economic challenge of sourcing least cost load balancing services (reserve).

Large scale wind power integration has influenced the safety of power system. Taking wind power integration in Jilin as example, the paper describes the influencing factors of large scale wind power integration on reactive power of the grid in detail firstly, then analyze the reactive voltage in four typical ways, and discuss the impact of the wind power fluctuations on the grid reactive voltage.
