In this paper, a positioning system based on smart space wireless sensor network platform is designed and a positioning method of RSSI-based wireless sensor network is studied. The intelligent wheelchair as a blind node in the smart space positioning system is used to collects adjacent the reference node coordinates and RSSI value. The blind node coordinates can be calculated by CC2431 location engine to achieve a wireless location. The test results show that: positioning error of the node is about 1 meter, so it has the potential to satisfy the application of the intelligent wheelchair indoor positioning.

Discrete manufacturing enterprise has a complex and varied production process, which causes manufacturing resources have dynamic characteristics. Aiming at the efficient collect and management of manufacturing resource information, improve the enterprise’ intellectualization, a real-time resource positioning system based on wireless sensor network was proposed. Firstly, a perceptual model for resource positioning was designed, which can collect and analysis real-time resources information in the workshop. Meanwhile, the architectural structure of real-time resources positioning system was designed based on wireless sensor network and the resources positioning flow was illustrated. Aiming at the low positioning accuracy caused by electromagnetic interference and obstacle in manufacturing workshop environment, a multi-sensor positioning data fusion algorithm based on fuzzy evidence theory was proposed. Finally, a prototype system is implemented to demonstrate the validity of the method in practice.

Modern micro sensor has low cost, low power characteristic, it can realize the wireless communication and computing performance, a large number of the sensors organizations constitute the wireless sensor network. This paper realized the design of wireless sensor network positioning system based on CC2430 using Zigbee technology and RSSI ranging technology. Through the experiment test, the technology improved fixed position accuracy and resistance to environment base on RSSI calculate method.

A novel workspace measurement positioning system based on optical scanning and wireless sensor network is presented in this paper. Coordinate measurement principle through angle intersection is detailed discussed. According to analysis of system requirement, a Zigbee wireless sensor network is designed for data transmission; routing algorithm and flowchart of nodes software are also given. A platform consists of two planar laser transmitter and optical receivers is set up for verification. Experiments result demonstrates that the accuracy of new angle measurement method is better than 1mm.
