A microwave technique for the continuous on-line measurement of moisture content in wheat is described together with an automatic control system based on these measurements. The results from a prototype installation are given and the consequent improvement of flour parameters are discussed.

SummaryThe computation and control system elaborated by the authors for the Clincom apparatus is described briefly. This system makes it possible to convert the original single-purpose Clincom apparatus into a modern computation system that can be applied to scientific and technical calculations, OFF-LINE and ON-LINE data processing (especially in the field of nuclear medicine) and to recording and/or complex ON-LINE processing of static and dynamic scintigraphic studies.
