According to the processing and control requirements of precision CNC internal grinder, a design of ARM-based embedded precision CNC internal grinder soft-PLC system was proposed. The design idea of open CNC system was introduced and the system hardware and software were packaged as the components to develop the PLC applications, achieved the logic control of the machine tool. This design meets the requirements of software design instead of hardware design and system integration development of embedded CNC system, achieved the real-time process control and improved the precision.

Machine operating panel is an important component of controlling machine and the human-computer interaction. As CAN bus has the remote and stable transmission characteristic, the remote IO board is designed. A design of machine operating panel based on CAN bus for the PC-based CNC system is introduced, including the overall architecture design and software design method. This paper focuses on the remote IO board, as well as the practical application in the CNC system of TDNC-H8.

The 3 DOF parallel machine tool CNC system based on DSP takes 3-HUU configuration of parallel machine tool as the control object, and adopts TMS320F2812 of TI DSP as control core of the CNC system. This paper mainly studies hardware design and software design of the lower control system of the 3 DOF parallel machine tool, and does practical test which shows that the CNC system can well control the parallel machine tool and finish machining movement.

CNC system is the core of CNC Machine Tools, reliability of CNC system is decided in its design stage. Design stage of CNC system can be divided into software design and hardware design. In software design, there is not perfect theories to follow, so every factors should be considered, different factors should have different measures; In hardware design, some methods and experience can be used for reference, and improve these methods and experience. In order to improve the CNC system reliability fundamentality, CNC system need stability base, measures should be done from design stage.

This paper introduces current situation of varying screw machining, characteristics of PMAC2-PCI, researches open CNC system based on PMAC2-PCI, designs CNC system of screw polishing and grinding machine, including hardware design and software design. The system holds the advantage of fast machining speed, high control precision and high stability.

According to the design requirements of open CNC system,an open soft-CNC system design was proposed in this paper. The embedded microprocessor ARM and embedded operating systemμc/os-ii was used as the system development latform, introducing of hardware and software design ideas to complete the soft-CNC design and the software was packaged into components, simplified the system hardware architecture, improved the reliability, openness, and real-time of the system.
