Because of the problems of fault diagnosis in the power electric circuit and the merit of FCM is efficient in clustering and the merit of hidden Markov model (HMM) that have the ability to deal with continuous dynamic signals and the merit of support vector machine (SVM) with perfect classifying ability, With the features extracted from the circuit, based on the trained FCM algorithm, HMM was used to calculate the matching degree among the unknown signal and the circuit’s states, which formed the features for SVM to diagnosis. Double-bridge 12-pulse rectifier is used as a example to verifiy the effectiveness of the method. The experimental results show that the proposed method has a good correct rate.

SummaryTwo automated methods for two-stage factor VIII assays have been compared with one another, and evaluated in practice. The Depex method records the clotting time when an electric circuit is completed by the formation of a fibrin thread across a hook-type electrode; the Electra method is based on an optical density technique of clot detection. The two methods gave comparable results for measured levels of factor VIII when haemophilic or “normal” plasmas were assayed. Results from the two methods in practice also suggest that both are valid at low and “normal” factor VIII levels. The Electra method is also probably suitable for assays of concentrates; however, the Depex method appears to give falsely high values in these circumstances, and experimental findings suggest that the reason may be that increased viscosity due to the high fibrinogen levels in factor VIII concentrates causes premature closure of the circuit between the two ends of the Depex electrode. The main advantage of the Depex method is that, provided 3 or 4 machines are available, a given number of assays can be completed more quickly than on Electra. The main advantages of Electra are that it is probably subject to less laboratory error than Depex, and that it is suitable for assaying concentrates as well as haemophilic and “normal” plasmas.

Aiming at the irregularity of the fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer planetary gear, a fault diagnosis method based on support vector data description (SVDD) is proposed. The working condition of the helicopter is complex and changeable, and the fault characteristics of the planetary gear also show irregularity with the change of working conditions. It is impossible to diagnose the fault by the regularity of a single fault feature; so a method of SVDD based on Gaussian kernel function is used. By connecting the energy characteristics and fault characteristics of the helicopter main reducer running state signal and performing vector quantization, the planetary gear of the helicopter main reducer is characterized, and simultaneously couple the multi-channel information, which can accurately characterize the operational state of the planetary gear’s state.
