Coronal shear fractures of the distal humerus are rare, frequently comminuted, and are without consensus for treatment. The aim of this paper is to review the current concepts on the diagnosis, classification, treatment options, surgical approaches, and complications of capitellar and trochlear fractures. Computed Tomography (CT) scans, along with the Dubberley classification, are extremely helpful in the decision-making process. Most of the fractures necessitate open reduction and internal fixation, although elbow arthroplasty is an option for comminuted fractures in the elderly low-demand patient. Stiffness is the most common complication after fixation, although reoperation is infrequent.

Abstract Purpose To know the role of Ultrasonography and MR Arthrogram in detection of shoulder joint disorders Methods and material Thirty patients with suspected shoulder joint disorders underwent US,MRI ,MR arthrography shoulder. Results All cases with ALAPSA, Bankert, reverse bankert, hillsachs, perthes and SLAP are diagnosed accurately by MR arthrography with sensitivity of (100%) in GLAD ,Supraspinatus tendenopathy ,Supraspinatus tendon tear and IGHL injury sensitivity was decreased to 75%,in cases of paraglenid cysts arthrography did not diagnose any of them as there are no communication between the cyst and the joint Conclusion MR arthrography shoulder has a golden rule in diagnosis ,classification of cases of shoulder dislocation ,SLAP injuries and rotator cuff impingement

Implant periapical lesion (IPL) is an infectious-inflammatory alteration surrounding an implant apex. It is a multifactorial disease that may ultimately cause implant failure. The diagnosis of IPL is based on examination of clinical manifestations and apical radiolucency. Many etiologies have been attributed to IPL, including preexisting microbial pathology and surgical trauma. Moreover, many systems have been used to classify IPL based on different parameters. To date, non-surgical and surgical treatment, as well as removal of failed implants, have been considered to successfully manage IPL. However, prevention of IPL surpasses all modes of treatment. An increased number of IPL cases are expected as implants have become standard for tooth replacement in dentate arches. Therefore, it is necessary to understand IPL more comprehensively. Herein, an introduction to IPL, including its etiology, diagnosis, classification, treatment, and prevention, has been undertaken.
