As IPv4 addresses are already exhausted before the beginning of Internet of Thing (IoT), IPv6 is widely used to assign unique identity to IoT nodes. In this article, the analysis of different components required in assigning IPv6 addresses to IoT nodes, a survey of IPv6 address assignment schemes and an examination of the different kinds of IPv6 addresses are presented. This article highlights the architectural complexity of IoT technologies, protocol stacks, limitations of IoT nodes, renumbering, multihoming, the merging of IoT network and other challenges towards assigning of IPv6 address to IoT nodes. A comprehensive survey on recent addressing schemes with classification based on allocation tables and spatial information are presented. This survey describes the address allocation mechanism, performance on different metrics, the area of applicability, and the merits and demerits of different addressing schemes. It also describes the future research options addressing IoT.

In the past decade, Internet of Things (IoT) has experienced a rapid development, but the accompanied security problems were discussed rarely. To some extent, it restricted the development of IoT. This paper summarized the security characters of IoT, discussed relevant security issues of different layers, especially in the perception layer. Finally from the aspect of some emerging technologies, this paper prospected the future develop trends of IoT.

This review is intended as a comprehensive survey of iodinated metabolites possessing carbon–iodine covalent bond, which have been obtained from living organisms. Generally thought to be minor components produced by many different organisms these interesting compounds now number more than 110. Many from isolated and identified iodine-containing metabolites showed high biological activities. Recent research, especially in the marine area, indicates this number will increase in the future. Sources of iodinated metabolites include microorganisms, algae, marine invertebrates, and some animals. Their origin and possible biological significance have also been discussed.
