In order to search after a new way of the propulsion system of tracked vehicle, a novel structure form of electro-mechanical transmission was developed in this paper, through analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of existing projects of electric drive system for tracked vehicle. It could increase the rate of power exertion obviously and synthesize the mechanical and electrical strongpoint. And based on the structure form, an electro-mechanical transmission was designed with double electromotor added planetary mechanism of steering power coupling and gearshift, considering engineering realization. And then straight-line driving and steering performances of the transmission were calculated which proved that the novel electro-mechanical transmission could meet the requirement of tracked vehicle propulsion well.

The bond graph method is used to analyse and model dynamics of hybrid electric system based on Ravigneaux Planetary Mechanism. Bond graph models are built in different structural form, general equations of torque and speed are derived, and operating modes achieved in different structural form are in consideration. At the same time, requirements of control system in different operating modes are illustrated and analysed, which help lay the foundations for modeling and simulation of HEV system based on Ravigneaux Planetary Mechanism.

For studying controlling tragedy of soft starter with disc brake, its working principle was analyzed, and system dynamics equation was established. Besides, the brake torque provided by the disc brake was counted. The analysis indicates that, for the constant load starting in uniform acceleration, the brake oil-pressure must keep invariable. The conclusions provide theoretical basis for the hydraulic and electrical controlling of soft starter.

This paper presents the dynamic modeling of a new variant of helical planetary gear proposed by the authors, generated by the Vaucanson`s planetary mechanism. This model can be apply successfully helping a robotic arm in motion. It is considered that the gear made connects between a motor and a pump, whose mechanical properties are known. Using Matlab-Simulink is setting the equations of motion and dynamic response, both in premise neglect friction and the premise of considering friction.

The paper presents an original algorithm composed by authors in order to determine through exact calculations the efficiency value of a simple planetary mechanism, increasingly used in aerospace, robotics, mechatronics, machine building, and various automation. The calculation program is written in excel and for its simple automation four sign-type switches, are used plus or minus 1, and a logic function for checking the status and choosing the corresponding value. In this way, the program is generalized to be used for any type of simple planetary mechanism for the purpose of accurately determining its yield.
