Geological strata conditions is restriction to the design and construction of projects .The significance of three-dimensional modeling of engineering rock mass is obviously for both construction and monitoring.However,the existing three-dimensional modeling methods have the disadvantages of low productivity and huge amounts of data . Focusing on these problems, a fast modelling method used to build geological model is presented in this paper. Compared with the special geological 3D modeling and analysis software ,VRML has many merits such as flexible visualization method, good transplantation of the visualization achievements , and independent platform . VRML also has the feasibility of low-bandwidth and the real-time visualization and browsing of the models .It is well suited to the visualization requirement of drilling data and cross-sectional data ,and provides a new solution for the realization of the geological visualization.

In order to improve the design and the two-dimensional drawing identifying technology of freeform surface for the complicated components, such as turbine runner blades, based on the strong modeling technology of CAD/CAM and the software UG of CAD/CAM, detailed analyses three-dimensional modeling of turbine runner, then explain the design difficulties and three-dimensional effect of freeform surface, in order to resolve part of the design difficulties of freeform surface. Provide the original database for computer auxiliary fabricating and explain the practicability of CAD/CAM by analyses three-dimensional modeling of turbine runner.

According to the CFD numerical simulation of hydraulic turbine internal flow and simulation calculation of vortex and cavitation of draft tube, and in the three dimensional modeling and analysis of the draft tube elbow is found that commonly modeling methods are tedious process, there is more deviations, not conducive to modify the part size and flow over a smooth. This article proposes a projective modeling method to avoid some drawbacks of traditional methods; the modeling process is convenient and concise, easy to modify the local size, flow more smoothly, and achieve more accurate simulation process.
