In this paper, we investigate the finite-time synchronization control for a class of nonlinear coupled multiweighted complex networks (NCMWCNs) with Markovian switching and time-varying delay analytically and quantitatively. The value of this study lies in four aspects: First, it designs the finite-time synchronization controller to make the NCMWCNs with Markovian switching and time-varying delay achieve global synchronization in finite time. Second, it derives two kinds of finite-time estimation approaches by analyzing the impact of the nonlinearity of nonlinear coupled function on synchronization dynamics and synchronization convergence time. Third, it presents the relationship between Markovian switching parameters and synchronization problems of subsystems and the overall system. Fourth, it provides some numerical examples to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

This paper investigates the pinning synchronization of nonlinearly coupled complex networks with time-varying coupling delay and time-varying delay in dynamical nodes. Some simple and useful criteria are derived by constructing an effective control scheme and adjusting automatically the adaptive coupling strengths. To validate the proposed method, numerical simulation examples are provided to verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

The generalized synchronization between two complex networks with nonlinear coupling and time-varying delay is investigated in this paper. The novel adaptive schemes of constructing controller response network are proposed to realize generalized synchronization with the drive network to a given mapping. Two specific examples show and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The problems on synchronization and pinning control for complex dynamical networks with interval time-varying delay are investigated and two less conservative criteria are established based on reciprocal convex technique. Pinning control strategies are designed to make the complex networks synchronized. Moreover, the problem of designing controllers can be converted into solving a series of NMIs (nonlinear matrix inequalities) and LMIs (linear matrix inequalities), which reduces the computation complexity when comparing with those present results. Finally, numerical simulations can verify the effectiveness of the derived methods.
