The Higgs triplet model predicts the existence of the doubly and singly charged Higgs bosons ([Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]), whose decay modes are relevant to the vacuum expectation value of the triplet [Formula: see text] and the mass spectrum of these scalars. In this paper, we study the pair production of [Formula: see text] via the processes in [Formula: see text] collisions: [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. The numerical results show that the production rates can reach the level of several fb with a center of energy at the TeV scale. The characteristic signals and relevant SM backgrounds are also discussed in both the degenerate and nondegenerate cases. In most of the parameter spaces, their possible signals might be detected via these processes in the future high-energy linear collider experiments with [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text].

The doubly-charged Higgs bosons [Formula: see text] are the typical particles predicted in the Georgi–Machacek (GM) model and their decay modes depend on the magnitude of the triplet vacuum expectation value (VEV) [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we focus on the study of their pair production process at the International Linear Collider (ILC): [Formula: see text], with the subsequent decay of two like-sign [Formula: see text] bosons through a pair of like-sign dileptons and the remaining two in their hadronic decays. The 5[Formula: see text] confidence level discovery reach at the ILC is also studied with two collision energies of 1.0 TeV and 1.5 TeV.

The characteristic feature of the Higgs Triplet Model (HTM) is the existence of the doubly charged Higgs bosons H±±. In this paper, we study the pair production of doubly charged Higgs bosons in γγ collisions at the International Linear Collider (ILC). We present the production cross-sections and the distributions of the various observables, i.e. the distributions of the transverse momenta, the rapidity distributions for doubly charged Higgs bosons and the production angle distributions of the charged Higgs boson pair. Our numerical results show that, the values of the unpolarized cross-sections can reach a few hundreds of fb. We also study the possible final state for the decay mode H±±→W±W± and relevant Standard Model (SM) background. Due to high produced rate and small SM background, the possible signals of H±± might be detected via this process in the future ILC experiments.

The singly and doubly charged Higgs bosons (H± and H±±) are the typical particles predicted in the Higgs Triplet Model and the observation of these particles can be regarded as the direct evidence of new physics. In this paper, we focus on the study of the singly and doubly charged Higgs bosons associated production process: e+e- → H+H--W+. We present the production cross sections and the distributions of the transverse momenta and the rapidity distributions for outgoing particles. The numerical results show that the production rates can reach the level of several fb with reasonable parameter values. So, one can expect that enough signals could be produced in the future high-energy e+e- collider experiments. The relevant SM backgrounds are also discussed in the case that the vacuum expectation value of the triplet is around 1 GeV.

AbstractIn this work, we study the potential of searching for triply charged Higgs boson originating from a complex Higgs quadruplet in the final state with at least three same-sign leptons. A detailed collider analysis of the SM backgrounds and signals is performed at a 100 TeV pp collider for the triply charged Higgs boson mass below 1 TeV and the Higgs quadruplet vacuum expectation value $$v_\Delta $$ v Δ ranging from $$1.5\times 10^{-9}~\text {GeV}$$ 1.5 × 10 - 9 GeV to $$1.3~\text {GeV}$$ 1.3 GeV and the mass splitting $$\Delta m$$ Δ m between the nearby states of the Higgs quadruplet satisfying $$|\Delta m|\lesssim 30~\text {GeV}$$ | Δ m | ≲ 30 GeV . About $$100~\text {fb}^{-1}$$ 100 fb - 1 of data are required at most for $$5\sigma $$ 5 σ discovery. We also revisit the sensitivity at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and find that $$5\sigma $$ 5 σ discovery of the triply charged Higgs boson below 1 TeV can be reached for a relatively small $$v_\Delta $$ v Δ . For example, if $$v_\Delta =10^{-6}~\text {GeV}$$ v Δ = 10 - 6 GeV and $$\Delta m=0$$ Δ m = 0 , the integrated luminosity of $$330~\text {fb}^{-1}$$ 330 fb - 1 is needed. But for a relatively large $$v_\Delta $$ v Δ , i.e., $$v_\Delta \gtrsim 10^{-3}~\text {GeV}$$ v Δ ≳ 10 - 3 GeV , the triply charged Higgs boson above about 800 GeV cannot be discovered even in the high-luminosity LHC era. For $$\Delta m>0$$ Δ m > 0 , the cascade decays are open and the sensitivity can be improved depending on the value of $$v_\Delta $$ v Δ .

In the framework of the unified compositeness of leptons, quarks and Higgs bosons, supplemented with the hypothesis of the vector boson dominance of the SM gauge interactions, restrictions on the universal residual fermion–boson and boson–boson interactionsare investigated. Manifestations of the universal interactions in the W+W− and ZH boson pair production at the 2 TeV e+e− linear collider are studied. Definite signaturesof these interactions are exposed, and their relations to the nonstandard triple gaugeinteractions are considered. It is shown that the unified substructure could be tested atthe collider in these processes up to the compositeness scale [Formula: see text], which liesin the naturally preferred deca-TeV region. Importance of the optimal angular cutoffsand the polarized beams is found.
