We present stability analysis of delayed Wilson-Cowan networks on time scales. By applying the theory of calculus on time scales, the contraction mapping principle, and Lyapunov functional, new sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution to the considered system. The obtained results are general and can be applied to discrete-time or continuous-time Wilson-Cowan networks.

We investigate a class of fuzzy neural networks with Hebbian-type unsupervised learning on time scales. By using Lyapunov functional method, some new sufficient conditions are derived to ensure learning dynamics and exponential stability of fuzzy networks on time scales. Our results are general and can include continuous-time learning-based fuzzy networks and corresponding discrete-time analogues. Moreover, our results reveal some new learning behavior of fuzzy synapses on time scales which are seldom discussed in the literature.

By using Schaeffer's theorem and Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions of the existence and globally exponential stability of positive periodic solution to an impulsive neural network with time-varying delays are established. Applications, examples, and numerical analysis are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the main results.

Existence and exponential stability of a periodic solution for fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays Fuzzy cellular neural networks with time-varying delays are considered. Some sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of periodic solutions are obtained by using the continuation theorem based on the coincidence degree and the differential inequality technique. The sufficient conditions are easy to use in pattern recognition and automatic control. Finally, an example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of our methods.

This paper is concerned with a host-macroparasite difference model. By applying the contraction mapping fixed point theorem, we prove the existence of unique almost periodic positive solution. Moreover, we investigate the exponential stability of almost periodic solution by means of Lyapunov functional.

This paper is concerned with a class of the discrete Mackey–Glass model that describes the process of the production of blood cells. Prior to proceeding to the main results, we prove the boundedness and extinction of its solutions. By means of the contraction mapping principle and under appropriate assumptions, we prove the existence of almost periodic positive solutions. Furthermore and by the implementation of the discrete Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are established for the exponential convergence of the almost periodic positive solution. Examples, as well as numerical simulations are illustrated to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical findings of the paper. Our results are new and generalize some previously-reported results in the literature.

This paper presents some sufficient conditions for the existence and global exponential stability of the almost periodic solution for impulsive bi-directional associative memory neural networks with time-varying delays by using Lyapunov functional and Gronwall-Bellmans inequality technique. Comparing with known literatures, the results of this paper are new and they complement previously known results.

This paper is concerned with impulsive cellular neural networks with time-varying delays in leakage terms. Without assuming bounded and monotone conditions on activation functions, we establish sufficient conditions on existence and exponential stability of periodic solutions by using Lyapunov functional method and differential inequality techniques. Our results are complement to some recent ones.

In this paper, the impulsive Cohen-Grossberg neural network with unbounded discrete time-varying delays is considered. By using the analysis method and inequality technique, several sufficient conditions are obtained to ensure the global exponential stability of the addressed neural network. These results generalize the existing relevant stability results. Two examples with simulations are given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

AbstractBy applying the method of coincidence degree and constructing suitable Lyapunov functional, some sufficient conditions are established for the existence and global exponential stability of anti-periodic solutions for a kind of impulsive fuzzy Cohen-Grossberg neural networks on time scales. Moreover an example is given to illustrate our results.

AbstractIn this paper, the global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solutions of fuzzy wave equations are investigated. By variable substitution the system of partial differential equations (PDEs) is transformed from second order to first order. Some sufficient conditions that ensure the global exponential stability and the existence of periodic solution of the system are obtained by an analysis that uses a suitable Lyapunov functional. In addition, a concrete example is given to show the effectiveness of the results.
