In this paper, a kind of BAM neural networks with leakage delays in the negative feedback terms and time-varying delays in activation functions was considered. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov function and using inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions to ensure the existence and exponential stability of antiperiodic solutions of these neural networks were derived. These conditions extend some results recently appearing in recent papers. Lastly, an example is given to show the feasibility of these conditions.

On a new type of almost periodic time scales, a class of BAM neural networks is considered. By employing a fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques, some sufficient conditions ensuring the existence and global exponential stability ofC1-almost periodic solutions for this class of networks with time-varying delays are established. Two examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and results.

A class of Cohen-Grossberg-type BAM neural networks with distributed delays and impulses are investigated in this paper. Sufficient conditions to guarantee the uniqueness and global exponential stability of the periodic solutions of such networks are established by using suitable Lyapunov function, the properties ofM-matrix, and some suitable mathematical transformation. The results in this paper improve the earlier publications.

This paper is concerned with impulsive cellular neural networks with time-varying delays in leakage terms. Without assuming bounded and monotone conditions on activation functions, we establish sufficient conditions on existence and exponential stability of periodic solutions by using Lyapunov functional method and differential inequality techniques. Our results are complement to some recent ones.

In this paper, the global robust exponential stability is discussed for discrete-time bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with time varying delays. By the linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique and discrete Lyapunov functional combined with inequality techniques, a new global exponential stability criterion of the equilibrium point is obtained for this system. The proposed result is less restrictive, and easier to check in practice. Remarks are made with other previous works to show the superiority of the obtained results, and the simulation example is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of our result.

This paper deals with the stability analysis problem for a class of discrete-time stochastic BAM neural networks with discrete and distributed time-varying delays. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and employing M-matrix theory, we find some sufficient conditions ensuring the global exponential stability of the equilibrium point for stochastic BAM neural networks with time-varying delays. The conditions obtained here are expressed in terms of LMIs whose feasibility can be easily checked by MATLAB LMI Control toolbox. A numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness of the derived LMI-based stability conditions.

In this paper, the exponential stability analysis problem is considered for a class of impulsive recurrent cellular neural networks (IRCNNs) with time-varying delays. Without assuming the boundedness on the activation functions, some sufficient conditions are derived for checking the existence and exponential stability of periodic solution for this system by using Mawhin's continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory and constructing suitable Lyapunov functional. It is believed that these results are significant and useful for the design and applications of IRCNNs. Finally, an example with numerical simulation is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and results.

By using the coincidence degree theorem and differential inequality techniques, sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and global exponential stability of periodic solutions for general neural networks with time-varying (including bounded and unbounded) delays. Some known results are improved and some new results are obtained. An example is employed to illustrate our feasible results.

This paper is devoted to the study of the stochastic stability of a class of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks, in which the interconnections and delays are time-varying. With the help of Lyapunov function, Burkholder-Davids-Gundy inequality, and Borel-Cantell's theory, a set of novel sufficient conditions onpth moment exponential stability and almost sure exponential stability for the trivial solution of the system is derived. Compared with the previous published results, our method does not resort to the Razumikhin-type theorem and the semimartingale convergence theorem. Results of the development as presented in this paper are more general than those reported in some previously published papers. An illustrative example is also given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

In this article, sufficient conditions for fixed-time synchronization of time-delayed quaternion-valued neural networks (QVNNs) are derived. Firstly, QVNNs are decomposed into four real-valued systems. Then using the available lemmas and by constructing the Lyapunov function, the synchronization criterion for the neural networks is proposed. Activation functions satisfy the Lipschitz condition. A suitable controller has been designed to synchronize the master–slave systems. The effectiveness of the proposed result is validated through a comparison of the settling time obtained by applying two different existing lemmas to a particular problem of synchronization of two identical QVNNs with time-varying delay with the help of suitable controllers.
