The Oriental leafhopper genus Caknesia Dworakowska is reported for the first time from China. One new species, C. sichuanensis sp. nov., from Sichuan of China, is described and illustrated; a key to all species, based on the male genitalia, is given. The type specimens are deposited in the collections of the Entomological Museum, Northwest A&F University, Yangling, China.

A New Species

The genus Parapentacentrus Shiraki, 1930 includes two species with long wings. In this paper, we report one new species, P. brevipennis He sp. nov., from Jinping, Yunnan, China. The new species have short forewings and hindwings, and have differences in the shape of supra-anal plate and male genitalia. DNA Barcode (COI gene) of this new species are provided. The type specimens are deposited in Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).

A New Species

The genus Homoeoxipha contains 11 species worldwide with 4 recorded from China. In this study, we reconstructed the gene tree based on COI gene, and reported one new species, H. oscillantenna He sp. nov. The new species is similar to H. eurylobus Ma, Liu & Zhang, but differs in the color of fore femur and the structure of male genitalia. Calling songs and nymph morphology are also provided. The type specimens are deposited in the Museum of Biology, East China Normal University (ECNU).

The subgenus Mimencaustes Heller is recorded from mainland China for the first time. One new species, Micrencaustes (Mimencaustes) acridentata sp. nov., is described in this paper. Type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China and the Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, China.

Synochoneura is a small genus restricted to China. The genus is reviewed, and one new species is described: Synochoneura dentana sp. n. The economically important genus Euscelidius Ribaut, 1942 is reported first time from the Palearctic temperate coniferous forests and montane grasslands and shrublands of Pakistan with the new species Euscelidius cornix sp. nov. Photographic illustrations and a description are provided for the habitus and male genitalia. A key and aedeagal illustrations are provided to distinguish all the species of the genus Euscelidius Ribaut worldwide along with their distribution.

Dicopomorpha Ogloblin, Dicopus Enock and Omyomymar Schauff (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae) are recorded from India for the first time and one new species, Dicopus noyesi Manickavasagam, sp. nov., is described from material collected from the state of Tamil Nadu. Gonatocerus bicoloriventris Zeya, G. breviterebratus Subba Rao, G. shamimi Subba Rao and Hayat, Mymar schwanni Girault, Narayanella thornypoda (Narayanan & Subba Rao) and Polynema mendeli Girault (Mymaridae) are also newly recorded from the state of Tamil Nadu.

The Chinese species of the genus Nakaharanus Ishihara are reviewed, and a new species Nakaharanus lii sp. nov. is described and illustrated. Nakaharanus sagittarius Kwon & Lee, 1979 is recorded from China for the first time. Two keys based on the male genitalia and female seventh sternum are given to distinguish Chinese species of this genus. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the Institute of Entomology, Guizhou University, Guiyang, China (GUGC).

A New Species

The Palaearctic species of the genus Trichardis Hermann, 1906 are reviewed. A new species, T. lehri sp. nov., is described. A new synonymy is established: T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) = T. afanasievae Lehr, 1964, syn. nov. The male of T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 is described for the first time. External features and the male genitalia of T. lehri sp. nov., T. leucocoma (van der Wulp, 1899) and T. mongolica V. Richter, 1972 are illustrated with photographs.
